Tiger Shroff, son of actor Jackie Shroff and producer Ayesha Dutt Shroff has already made big in the business and proved his mettle with his Baaghi series-Part 1 and 2, which was a blockbuster on the box office. The third installment of the action thriller is already in the pipeline which will be starring Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead.
Tiger is a celebrated name in the industry but it was not an easy journey for him. In a recent interview with GQ magazine, he spoke at length about how the failure of his mother Ayesha Shroff’s production Boom and his father Jackie Shroff’s financial decisions affected their whole family and they had to face some really tough times.
Produced by Tiger’s mother Ayesha, Boom(2003) starred Amitabh Bachchan and marked the debut of Katrina Kaif, was leaked before it could hit theatres and turned out to be a big flop. Tiger, who was 11 at the time could sense his family’s deteriorating financial condition.
Recalling the tough times, he said, “I remember how our furniture was sold off, one by one. Things I’d grown up seeing around us started disappearing. Then my bed went. I started to sleep on the floor. It was the worst feeling of my life.”
The Student of the Year 2 star also revealed that the experiment his parents did with Boom cost them heavily which eventually made it difficult for him to move away from the action hero image set with movies like Baaghi.
