Tiger Shroff, son of actor Jackie Shroff and producer Ayesha Dutt Shroff has already made big in the business and proved his mettle with his Baaghi series-Part 1 and 2, which was a blockbuster on the box office. The third installment of the action thriller is already in the pipeline which will be starring Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead.

Tiger is a celebrated name in the industry but it was not an easy journey for him. In a recent interview with GQ magazine, he spoke at length about how the failure of his mother Ayesha Shroff’s production Boom and his father Jackie Shroff’s financial decisions affected their whole family and they had to face some really tough times.

Produced by Tiger’s mother Ayesha, Boom(2003) starred Amitabh Bachchan and marked the debut of Katrina Kaif, was leaked before it could hit theatres and turned out to be a big flop. Tiger, who was 11 at the time could sense his family’s deteriorating financial condition.

Recalling the tough times, he said, “I remember how our furniture was sold off, one by one. Things I’d grown up seeing around us started disappearing. Then my bed went. I started to sleep on the floor. It was the worst feeling of my life.”

The Student of the Year 2 star also revealed that the experiment his parents did with Boom cost them heavily which eventually made it difficult for him to move away from the action hero image set with movies like Baaghi.

He also spoke about his choice of films stating, “You think of Shah Rukh sir (and) think ‘Romance King’. You (look at) Salman Khan, (and) think ‘Bhaijaan’. Each one of these guys has a label. That’s important in an industry that has so much competition. Every time I do something offbeat, (the audience has) not been as kind, to me. A Flying Jatt or Student Of The Year 2. In A Flying Jatt, I was a bumbling superhero, afraid of heights, fights and of using powers. In SOTY 2, I was a college guy getting bullied. It didn’t go down well with my audience. I don’t think they could digest me coming from Baaghi 2 to being beaten up by college students.”

Talking of his next film, he will be paired opposite Hrithik Roshan in YRF’s War. The film is touted as the biggest action entertainer of the year and will see both the actors pitted against each other in a massive showdown. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor and is slated to release on October 2, 2019.

What the hell does he mean by this? Didn't he say he doesn't find acting important and he is happy with his action and dancing capabilities and want to entertain the audience through the same? Now he is blaming his parents and their poor financial decision as the reason for not being able to showcase his true acting potential which in my opinion doesn't even exist?
