Pyaar Kiya Toh darna kya....watched this movie with my family on a hot summer day with Ac on full blast and coke and milk mixed together...I even remember the clothes I was wearing although not sure about that...đŸ€”..memory is such a strange thing..

I feel myself going back to that day but who knows if I'm not mixing up different things...and yes, back in 2002 my parents used to think coke with milk was a healthy and nutritious drink...:) Thanks to Ramdev Baba for clearing that up..😔

Titanic for me also--tho I watched this at a rerun in the 2000s, it had a massive impact on me.... we're so silly as kids...

Me and my brother bought all Kate, Leo, Celine Dion merchandise, CDs etc those days....I had made this pledge that I'd watch Titanic whenever it aired,.. I've probably watched it some 25-30 times!.....

Thankfully I decided to stop one day because it was becoming such a task...😔 seems like such a waste now....but I understand that it created a mass hysteria around the world when it released. Apparently in Afghanistan too,...there were titanic markets...read in thousand splendid suns!.....Used to watch all their other movies too with the same "if it airs, have to watch it" pledge...Even a depressing movie like Basketball Diaries, I watched it some 10 times..What's Eating Gilbert Grape was still better! God now I'm feeling nostalgic about Grape..oh and the Beach..đŸ˜„..........................And I had this thing too about the sea and the ship......had some vague notion of reconstructing titanic..:p

And I had this book about Leo's life with pics,...it had his childhood days question and answer type print Ivs..And I remember that he had out down Joseph Cotten as his favourite actor. And I've only watched like a couple of his movies-Hitchcock's Shadow of A doubt, Niagara with Monroe and Potrait of jennie...And I think he's an amazing actor and all..But I find myself unable to judge him objectively like I can do for everyone else..somehow..smiley24

I don't have a big list like you as for me a crap is crap no matter what. Although the movies that make me nostalgic but not really my favorite are Koi Mil Gaya, Main Hoon Na and Phir Hera Pheri. I have great childhood memories attached to these movies.
