Is the audience ready for a movie like Chapaak? - Page 2

I couldn't care less about Deepika but I know one thing for sure that if Meghna Gulzar is making it then it's going to be a great film.

She's one of the most talented directors we have right now and she's absolutely brilliant.

If at all I'll watch this movie then it's going to be because of Meghna. I'm a big fan of hers.

I don't think so.. audiences can accept an acid attack victim in the lead role, but they also want some masala in the story, there is not much scope for that here, it's just a bleak story of what she went through - sure, the movie makers would try to make the latter parts of the story hopeful and victorious, but it's not enough to satisfy everyone's entertainment quotient.

Don't think audience is ready for the concept and the amazing acting of Deepika.
