No one has been approached for Ramayana

The film has been build to be shot in the 3D format. While rumours were afloat last week that Hrithik Roshan would be cast in the role of Rama and Deepika Padukone would reprise the role of Sita, the epic casting story is still a myth as director Nitesh reveals that no one has been cast yet.

“We are working on the script draft for the film and we will not be approaching anyone else till the time we complete working on the draft. Every other aspect, including casting, will only follow much later,” Nitesh said in an interaction with the media.
