The fact that you hated him in that movie does not mean she didn't overshadow him. Of course, she did, showing the whole gamut of emotions in her character's journey (and performing epic dance routines + expressions in songs which are still loved and still inspire new generations of actors/dancers). Meanwhile, SRK hammed it up both in his evil and his "begging for love" scenes.

On topic - of course they are, and they are lucky to have achieved so much. All the three Khans, in fact, are lucky. True, they are charismatic performers, but their acting wouldn't have held the candle to the abilities of mainstream Hollywood actors. And let's not even mention their "dancing".

You said Salman ALWAYS took risks. Stress on the word "ALWAYS". And doing different genres is not risk. All these genres of romance to comedy to masala are loved by masses. There's nothing risky in it if Salman did that.smh. He was doing what was in demand.

Salman too has biggest hits with three directors Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar and Sooraj Barjatya. So is he too nothing without them?

The names of the movies I've written are Hit films of SRK. It proves that SRK is NOT nothing without YRF and Dharma. He has enough hit films in his kitty even without them.

If YRF and Dharma made SRK's career then why haven't they done that with any other star? Why no other star is able to give a bigger hit than DDLJ and KKHH to YRF and Dharma?

Who came up with names like megastar or ace Khan for Salman and Aamir? Of course it can't be their PR. It's only SRK who is self-proclaimed King.

It's true that SRK played it safe with movies like Baazigar, Dil Se, Ram Jaane, Asoka, Chak De India and even DDLJ (as it was a new kind of formula because it was about NRIs).

And even lately, he's been playing it safe with Fan and Raees...

It's also true that he fabricated his living legend status. That's why he's one of the only Bollywood known face for those who don't know much about Indian cinema. It's also why the young stars all try to emulate him.

Sooraj directed him just for 3 films... and apart from hahk NONE was salman's biggest hit

with kabir & ALI abbas just 2 or 3 films...that too JUST IN RECENT FEW YEARS..NOT like srk's entire career from 1992 until his last successful film that spans 2 decades.... see the difference plz

and WHY not srk did those DIFFERENT GENERATIONS which were in DEMAND..? WHY he was not successful beyond those syrupy romantic pot boilers with extended arms....? he dont had that in him

why he failed at comedies? why no one offered him a cop role unlike ajay and salman ? why he has done nothing substantial in action films ?

Now atleast u kinda admit that salman was SUCCESSFUL in ALL MAIN GENERATIONS of the movies ....and no NON-ACTOR can achieve that without been very good in comedy, action, drama, romance....so much of salman of being a non actor 🤪

and u think srk's HAMMING was the reason of KKHH's success 🤪...there was loads of hue and cry against him getting award for his cringy acting in kkhh that many deserving actors that year in 1998 didnt got the award especially aamir for earth 1947 and Ghulam. kkhh and ddlj's success was mainly due to the supoerb direction of kjo and aditya.

Salman's biggest hits are with HAHK, MPK, TZH, Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. All the films were directed by the three directors I mentioned. So I suppose he's nothing without them?

And No, SRK's entire career was not only made by YRF and Dharma, and that I've already proved by mentioning his hit films out of those PHs. Why you are asking me so many questions? I'm not denying that SRK has reached the top by doing romance Although I too can ask you that why Salman is not doing any other genre than masala.

First of all, get this that I'm not opposite of you. I'm not a blind Salman hater or blind SRK fan. I'm not going to defend SRK for each and everything. Although SRK still has Hits in all genres.

Comedy : Chennai Express

Drama/Family : K3G

Romance : Do I need to mention?

Doing different genres doesn't prove Salman's versatility. He still acts same in all his films. Audience doesn't care about acting(Tiger Shroff is example)so don't even try to prove Salman's non-acting by using box office.

Yes, I think that it was SRK's "hamming" which made KKHH success. SRK even has the second biggest hit of Dharma K3G as well in his kitty. Hamming really works I guess. Still better than non-acting though.

So why can't Aditya and Karan do their superb direction again make a bigger hit than DDLJ and KKHH? No one is talking about award here. It's about box office.

Yes anyone could make KKHH and DDLJ similar hits without hammer.... there was a reason why aditya could NOT REPEAT the perfection of DDLJ in muhabbatain and that cringy RNBDJ, despite been hits they were nothing in front of DDLJ...so WHY hammer could not make them as good films as ddlj despite been success at BO ?.... definitely it was the direction and not his annoying hamming
