Maybe.. I didn't go weak in the knees for him so u can be right. Saw the women who came on his shows mention this so thought I was the odd one out. I only like Aamir as n actor.

But still find him charming enough on screen

SRK ruled 90s and early 20s . Even post 2011 he was most consistent.highest no. Of hits . His last 3 are flops but it's ok.he doesn't have string of flops like Salman , Akshay n other nepo superstars

SRK has been the number one star for a long time, I don't think we can take away that from him.

his problem is, he got stuck in his romantic star bubble a image which he cannot shed off/doesnt want to, while everyone from Akki to Sallu to Aamir to Ajay all have different image than they had in 1990s.

Sallu and Aamir were majorly romantic heroes in 1990s, today it is totally changed.

Akki and Ajay, have reinvented themselves and been every where.

I mean if his bad times continue that’ll be all that some people remember. 😆 Cautionary tale of what not to do when your at the top

tbh no matter how much anyone study examples or history, but the only once you reach top is down. You cannot go further up. It is inevitable.

SRK was number one in calling himself number one. Aamir always did far better work than him. When SRK was doing KKHH, Aamir did a Ghulam, Earth etc.

I remember once Aamir said that "SRK is good at manipulating the media n sticks to his genre. A Real King never keeps calling himself a King. Hv u seen a Sachin or Vishwanathan Anand call themselves No. 1 or King? He can stick to his throne n crown. I don't want to be King. I would rather be a Ikka in the chess board." Something along those lines. I still say both SRK n Kjo r masters at manipulating media to boost themselves way more than they actually are. Their PR skills r very strong n they have their chamchas in every place.

If u talk about long run AK-SK-SRK will always be remembered as The Khans. As a trio..like the earlier trio of old times.

So it's futile to talk about who was a bigger star, who had more hits or more misses..who withered away faster..all this won't matter in future.

The BW era of the last decade of 19th century and first 2 decades of 20th century will be their era..Khans first, then Akshay, Ajay . No one else has sustained for so long.
