Why'r Indians trending #SaveSpiderman doing nothing for our Ind?

yeah one knows that disney and sony's deal has fell off and spiderman wont be a part of MCU anymore..but my problem is why are indians so involved for an american character? its a character heaven's sake and played by multiple actors..they shall find another one to keep their fuel burning..

but what indians are doing for our own heroes..

the only trend that's asking for praying is the burning of amazonia forest. and that doesn't belong to our country.

so i want to ask has twitter only exposed how mean, selfish, self-centered indians have become or can someone come up with a good defense

Because people do give a damn to these things.

Twitter has lost its credibility in my eyes...I have seen how many many Indians have become more aware of whats going on in their country, esp after few of the great achievements the govt has achieved...so I dont really go on Twitter trends, esp when it comes to Indian news...

Since when Twitter trends serve as a proof to what someone is doing for their country. Or save the drowning cities?

Why will anyone care about talentless Sid Mal? People don't care about Spider-Man. They care about MCU which has became a big thing in India. And no, the actor won't be replaced. The character Spider-Man will not be part of MCU anymore. which will affect the storyline in MCU. That's what people care about.

Also people will not care about floods because most of the time people don't care about things which don't affect them. Everyday alot of people die but we don't stop our life to cry for them or provide help to the families. It's their life, their luck.

Burning Amazon forest will effect our environment so yes, people will care. But considering that most people don't care about saving environment or nature, it proves that Indians are not really self-centered.

no media is covering it

the brazil govt is very corrupt and all these fires are man made

Anyhow,

Maharashtra and other states have been severely affected by floods 🤢 , people have died, damage is severe. While even poorest of poor have been giving helping hand to flood affected people, Bollywood has been blissfully unaware of this😈. Only after they were severely criticized did stars like Amitabh Bachchan offered some help to flood hit areas of Maharashtra. No wonder some guy in underwear in trending on twitter and not #helpfloodvictims .
