They want you to go fully digital as in use apps like YONO rather than carry a plastic card with you everywhere. Basically helps them to do away with ATM machines that needs a lot of money. With a phone its completely the customers problem to have a good phone and decent internet service along with good battery life and of course the couhtless security threat that comes along with it.

I don't get it. Because those 3 people u have mentioned are the nicest people on IF. They put up with a cranky head like me. The only thing I can assume that u want to be the part of the cool gang. I will suggest you to get an image change and enter the IF with new ID and new attitude and we could all be friends. 😃❤️

You can but most don't do that . If they can do away with debit cards they will probably take down the atm machines too and asks customers to go completely digital. They anyways encourage people to not use physical money but do more digital transactions even now. As it is the number of ATM machines is slowly decresing in this country. The trend is supposed to continue which is why I guess they are introducing such ideas.
