As long as people have low expectations and only see these stars for the mindless characters they play, people will eat that crap up regardless if the person can act or not.

I don't think any actor will or should acting unless they are stopped given opportunities in films. just being realistic. who would pass off good work? If they are given scripts, they will and should keep working. Whether they are good or bad scripts, that is up to them.

I only think an actor should consider quitting is if they stop getting "good work" and directors stop seeing potential in them. That's when they get the clue that acting is not for them.

This does not apply to Sidharth/Parineeti/Sara/Jhanvi/ Arjun/Ananya, etc IMO. They are clearly still getting films based on their lineup. and directors have faith in them genuine or not (could be another case of nepotism where surname/ connections is the only criteria)

The industry is so fickle. People were literally calling ayushmann a flop actor 2 years ago. Today he is a NA winner.
