Ahhhh! Finally got some free time!
Coming to the analysis, you have done a great job Alisha 👍🏼 & I agree with almost every point.
However, at this point, I don't know how many of these traits still suit Mo or whether she should get this much of praise or not. 🤔
I am neither a fan or hater of her. My perspective have changed over the period of time depending on the story. 😊
Until Mo's true objective was disclosed, there was multiple layers and I loved her for it. Ved - I only started disliking her after Trishankulok Track. Until then, she had her reasons to get panicky and as much as frustrating it was to see everyone always praising her for her sacrifice, it was true; she did sacrifice a lot for Ansh and tried to protect him which makes her a good mother in one sense.
Coming to Mo, I kind of expected her to have genuine feelings for Ansh and Kajal as she did show concern and affection for them at the beginning. I guess it's the effect of Once Upon A Time, even The Vampire Diaries that at your core, you have some goodness or love for your kids or family members. So Mo expecting Ansh to become evil yet having genuine motherly feelings for him was something I was counting on. They did go to that direction only to reveal her true motive and then it no longer remained a layered character but became plain evil.
Another thing is, just like Rathores get saved each time due to divine intervention, a lot of times Mo got saved because Piya wasn't completely aware of her power neither she was so confident about it. 2 or 3 times when her emotions got heightened and her powers took over her, Mo couldn't even touch her. If luck continued to save Rathores then Mo too was in luck for Piya being oblivious towards her power.
The balance was maintained when Piya became a Sarpika. Her mother's death changed her into a vengeful person (only towards Mo) and only then their fight became meaningful. If one day Mo was winning then the next day Piya was winning over her - that was an absolute treat to watch.
Coming to self-reliance, I disagree. Mo does need others' help from time to time and she shamelessly accept it. Be it Rathores, Piya (Dola Track), Dola (Daivik Returns - Track) or Dilruba and then again Piya (Shalaka Track). Most of these incidents did occur from her own foolishness and she ran for help. So that's a trait Mo has lost over time or probably she never had that in the first place. PiyAnsh being too weak at the beginning, made her look more powerful and self-sufficient.
Coming to her fighting back, I can't say for now but in the past, I actually found her pretty dumb. Because only someone too dumb would take a risk which might obliterate him in the process. In the Ganesh Visarjan episode she mocked Ved saying even her Devi can't save Ansh but ran immediately when she listened to the aarti. So it's foolish for anyone who boast more than her capability and repeats the same mistakes again and again.
She knew Adi will bring her destruction. So an experienced Dayan like her would either try to protect herself or try to find out Adi's weakness. Here she kept on boasting of her power, came back each time, got her ass kicked - first by Adi himself, then by Nandi and finally by Piya. Yet, each time she came back with her old record. It made her look like an idiot not some mastermind.
Post leap, I am liking how she and Bhasmika is targeting the weakness of their enemies and it would remain enjoyable as long as they continue it and strike a balance between it.
