She didn’t have the figure for it ... She looked decent only in Saree

I think even her personality was too sophisticated for that kind of characters. Like she's too posh to act like that.

Jaya had a personality like what people say about Vidya Balan here. Housewife kind of lady. Most of her roles were like that..Meek, simple and quiet

Probably but I also saw some of her roles where she was playing a strong role, but still classy.. like there's a movie with amitabh I don't know it's name. Then there was a movie where her baby is getting kidnapped by her babysitter...something of that sort. So, based on my experience, I think she's played strong or meek roles, but always classy.
