Also why did Mugen bark at the end? The argument was with Kavin and Kasthuri. Some serious internal flaws of Mugen/Tharsh/Los are coming out now.

Ava, iva is a term to address a female respectfully in lankan Tamil. They emphasize the L in AVAL to address a woman or girl disrespectfully or casually. And Avanga, ivanga...they use it for plural regardless of their gender. For male, avar is the respectful term while avan is casual or disrespectful depending on the tone of the speech.

If you guys watch Tharshan parents' interviews, there his mother addresses Fathima Babu as 'Ava'....

Somebody said about addressing children, they address them as vaanga, ponga, neenga NOT out of respect but out of affection. They never call kids in singular (like vaa, po, iru)

They also use a semi-formal term 'neer' which is to address someone known but not so a close person. Like neenga is formal, neer is semi-formal and nee is casual or disrespectful

i never interact with SL but i think boys too mention as avan in respect full way while watch IPL running commentary RJ Balaji &some srilanka cricketer also there, he refer VK as avan ,RJ balai interpret and said he speaking in srilankan tamil anga avannu sollarathu than respect ful word dont confuse it with krishmachari srikanth sir avan etc

5. Coming to kavins case , its a girlish thing..to speak for the one she has fallen head over heels.. actually i hate kavin n sandy to the core..but there is a point in their relationship...

..initially los was angry with kavin saying u acted., go n talk to sakshi and all..but then within few days she changed..may be kavin would have disclosed the reality like strategically he was flirting with sakshi and that too with her consent only..n he really likes los only..may be..( i really dislike him here..he shouldnt have opted this way..even for strategy mannangatti) n here losli would have understood sakshi just ultafied his game n ended in breakup drama.n that too dragging los into her strategy ..(kaipudichi nadanthadheenga..this n that)

6.so now she is like jus enjoying being in his side..speaking for him whenever possible..he too does that..though we all dont like this pair, but losli for her age, her feelings, her maturity n her genuinity sounds very credible.... This is my take ma..

Both the times los went to jail she was not actually the worst performer. Had she not accepted the punishments it would have definitely gone Cheran. First time she accepted to save cheran only, second time not sure.

When cheran faced problems the whole house supported him, los also supported him,

I agree Madhu is just blabbering. All this is because of vanitha. As sandy said she is like a store, keeps everything inside and brings out all old stock ( which are not necessary) . I don’t think so she can communicate her thoughts and points well. This is where Kevin scores ( this vanitha also told Madhu )

Avan is never respectful in Sri Lankan Tamil, but used as casual if addressed someone a close friend or relative. I know you are mentioning about the Lankan Cricketer Arnorld, but he is mostly exposed to Sinhalese than of Tamil, hence his Tamil is not good as a typical lankan Tamil, plus his Tamil is mostly like Colombo Tamil, which is a mixture of sinhalese and Tamil
