This is why I don't get it. My brothers are like we are not gonna get looted twice 😆
Well, This is a bit insensitive sick comment. I do hope that they are not supporting this comment. Last line especially my brain stopped for a second. I think i should avoid serious discussion for my own sanity.Abhi tumhari wajah se charming genie ko wapis aana padega iss se maafi mangne. Bechari ek baar toh sorry bol ke gayi hai. Aur kitni baar bulwaoge?
Aur phir USS Rohingya madam ki na sahi par bangalan ki toh socho. Woh bhi kitna ro rahi thi iske liye. Tumhe Zara sa bhi andaza hai inn logo ko kitna dukh hota hai jab ponymo ko koi kuch bolta hai toh
I don't have any siblings either but I'm very close to my cousin and he's like my elder brother only so tie Rakhi to him. Also I tie Rakhi to my parents and bhagwan ji. And my mother also ties Rakhi to me. 😳Festivals evolve along with time. Earlier women were not empowered to protect themselves and it was thought that a male figure is necessary to protect them. Now thankfully that times have changed and there is increased awareness so people have also derived new meanings to festivals and not all people view it through the prism of 'women needing protection from men.'
Jisko jo Karna hai Karo but sala itna drama mat Karo
Nahi Rakhi tie Karni mat Karo ..jisko Karni hai Karne do
..sabka apna apna freedom hai ....
Har cheez main bhasad Karni hai ...
Aaj Modi ji ne Bola hai population ke liye kal se owaisi chalu ho Jayega ...hamari community pe Nishana hai yeh ...phir yahan pe thread banega aur Kuch aayengey apni apni theory k sath .....

I mentioned it on a lighter note. I was not proposing it as a solution. Not to be taken so seriously lol
But think about it, most crimes against women are by men. So yes if men are not allowed to get outside of the house for a day, women will definitely feel safer to step outside and not feel the need to be protected.
Again. It's just some food for thought. It's neither right nor implementable.
All my life have seen rakhis being associated with brothers and male cousins, first time I am reading here of sisters tying rakhis on each other 😆
and we have three such festivals. We put navratris(wheat sapling) behind our brothers' ears on Dusherra and get money from them. 😆Originally posted by: MsChanadlerBong

Enjoy Raksha Bandhan people. Har festival ko communal ya manVsWoman issue mat banao.
actually we tie one rakhi on our hands. Every girl will have atleast one rakhi on their hand. So either brother or sister or any family member will tie that rakhi.Originally posted by: Sarath_Pandey
