But Indian law enforcement is not bound by too much human rights rules or pity and compassion for women like shown in this movie, so depicting them similarly would look ridiculous

But I am sure the audience won’t mind

my mom says the same Betty, she thought the movie was ridiculous and not all that fantastic.. I watched it recently, and loved it though hehe :P

I think I’ve mentioned this before but what really annoyed me was it was touted again and again as a movie for smart people with smart storyline

But it was so stupid.. Otherwise I wouldn’t have minded that much

It looked like “Basic Instinct” wannabe except with married couple

hmm I get you :)

I'd like to know what you think of some notable hits this decade.. :)

How's Basic Instinct, Betty? Should I watch it? I keep putting it off ..it's been spoiled to me already.

Basic instinct was a novelty at the time of it’s release, it was groundbreaking

Don’t know if watched now it’ll have the same effect especially when U know the ending

Just like “The usual suspects”.... That was groundbreaking bcz of the ending, no body saw it coming ... It’s been repeated many times since, some people who watch it now for the first time say “meh”

P.S. Every body talks about the raunchy sex scenes in that movie but few people mention the blood and extreme violence

It was unpleasant, even Sharon Stone mentioned it, when filming murder scenes they had paramedics nearby as she kept passing out and suffered nightmares

Btw this movie completely ignores DNA, major loophole

Deepika should definitely try something like this . Would be interesting to see her in such a different character

Doesn't matter who would be apt. Alia would get it.

Coz what Alia wants, Alia gets😆

Hmm, I'll tell you when I watch it ..btw Betty, I am looking forward to your film reviews!:)

I really don't understand the 'meh' response to The Usual Suspects! :( .. my mind was blown, I became obsessed when I watched it.. so the lukewarm response to this film surprises me.. I guess such people have seen too many 'mind-bending' films that it fails to evoke the same response..

PS....Oh I didn't know about violence, thankyou for mentioning, I can get too carried away sometimes! aahhh, yes, a mere mention of this film and the infamous sleazy scenes immediately pops into our head :p

Totli Kangana would be pathetic as the cool girl. My cast would be:

Amy: PC

Nick: Ranbir

Margo: Kareena

Desi: Ranvir Shorey

Tanner Bolt: Irrfan
