I don't think Khatri would risk taunting an inspector. He is scared of Hanuman and doesn't cross a line. I'm sure he knows talking about Imarti would mean playing with fire. Especially when the case was closed and Hanuman was declared innocent. However, now, that the case has been reopened and Hanuman is suspended, Khatri might start taunting again...

Especially what you said about NB being a 'samjhdar bazurg' and trying to diffuse the situation with Beeji. She knows that Beeji was not the right person to tell the entire truth nor was that situation apt. Also, she has said a couple of times that it wasn't her story to tell, she'd rather HS tell it himself.

Yes a job-related crisis in his life is monumental since as an honest officer of the law, he has been accused of breaking it, questioning his integrity and his whole existence. I am also sure the backstory of her death was always there as part of the character sketch but they held the details and design of this track in reserve until they found the right moment to reveal it and also as you said after observing the popularity of HS.

I really am looking forward to parallels here as well. We already started seeing Minnie-HS ones which are lovely.
