My take on this whole Imarti Mystery

Hi all, my name is Aneeqa. I made this account when I was pretty young. Back then being called annx sounded cool (I guess) now I’d rather be known by my name…

I’m a regular reader here on IF. Even if I am not responding, I am reading all posts and opinions! Having said that, I just felt I’ll write my two cents on this new Imarti mystery and the questions that maybe this track was just added. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t…

When you have a story concept, you usually have an outline from start to the end. Especially with finite series. Or so I believe.

I don't think this track was just added - I think it was there... but maybe before adding any Hanuman related track the makers wanted to be sure of Hanuman Singh's popularity with the audience (or not)... This track has multiple parallels. Too many to count. And a much-needed track. It had to come.

Not only the parallel riti4u mentioned in her post here but this (or something of the sort) had to be shown. When Hanuman and Babita met, Babita was going through something terrible... her whole life had changed... Hanuman stood by her and Minnie the whole time. We all knew and wanted Hanuman to go through something terrible and Babita and Minnie standing by him with their unwavering trust. And what better way to make Hanuman Singh go through an emotional turmoil, by accusing him of the homicide of his own beloved Imarti. If not more, this is almost equal to the crisis Babita went through. Anything job-related would not have been equal to Babita's crisis.

Only then the relationship could be of equality. When everyone involved had complete trust and faith in one another. Hanuman has proved himself time and again. It is now Babita and Minnie's turn... This time it will be Minnie defending her father compared to Ashok... but another parallel... remember when Minnie was framed and falsely accused by a boy (Manmeet), Hanuman believed Minnie. He trusted her, without a question. I want to see a similar scene. I want her to go stand by Hanuman the same way... without any questions... So this is another parallel drawn.

I think this track will be full of much-needed parallels. To not only show how a father-daughter relationship be, or how strong a husband-wife relationship be but to also compare Babita and Minnie’s relationship with both Ashok and Hanuman. I am looking forward to the numerous parallels this track alone will bring…

I will also use this space to talk about Naeem Bi's childbirth explanation, which is making people say that maybe this is an unplanned track. Well, I disagree. I feel, and I am sure most of you will agree, that Naeem Bi is an unconventional adult in the show. The 'samjhdar bazurg' that you hardly see on ITV. She understands, she explains and acts as the elder of a family should. She told Beeji about the death of Imarti during childbirth. I think because she understood (and sensed) that if Beeji knew the truth she'll be scared. She'll point fingers and may add confusion to an already confused relationship. Instead, she told a lie, which made Beeji support the relationship and give a node to it too. I am sure that Beeji will voice her doubts about Hanuman and point fingers at him (maybe between the lines/ in a subtle way). Naeem bi lied to the person who did not matter... but she didn't to the person who did. She cleared the air then and there. So no, I don't really think Imarti's death mystery is an afterthought. I think it was planned.

Thanks Aneeqa for this insight , your explanation of Naem bi lying seems spot on. I also believe that makers had kept this HS backstory part open by not revealing much on his wife's death initially. Agreed with too many parallels 👍🏼

I cannot agree more!

Well, this sure doesn't look unplanned. The only possibility is, this might've been pushed ahead of its planned time. Didn't we want to see Babes stepping up and proving herself worthy? So here it is.

I can't wait for the unit to work in full force. Yes it's emotional and turbulent but it's important.

Important to fix her position in his life. Important to fix her insecurities.

I am excited for this track and I'm all up for it!

And once again, thanks for explaining what I was feeling since these 2 days, and wasn't able to put it in words.

Truly hats off to the writers for thinking so far ahead. 👏

The show is almost about to complete 200 episodes. While others lose their steam and either are on the verge to end or introduce nonsensical tracks, PB has become stronger and far more gripping than before.

It makes me wonder when this track is over, what will the writers decide to show next?

P.S. If you want to change your username, I'm pretty sure you can do it in the settings.

So true! By 200, the initial charm of the actors, leads, story and freshness is lost. And all the attention too. But ours goes stronger by the day!

Whatever the next track will be, it'll be dhamakedaar in true PB style. Maybe business expansion? Some job conflicts? Before that we should get our confessions and marriage though <3

Thank you

Agreed. I think there were too many reasons to keep the Hanuman backstory quite. I do believe they wanted to see if Hanuman will actually be accepted by the audience. I remember initially people had doubts. I remember the rumours of Eijaz Khan entering too. So if there was another hero then there needed no reason to have a backstory. Then, of course, it also depended on how long the show could continue... If the time was less, certain not so necessary elements could be deleted. Looks the time is plenty so the story sees the light of the day.

But I do believe that when the character was being made, the backstory existed. It's a surprise for us, yes, but I think the makers knew something of the sort will come to light...

For a show as realistic as PB, nothing, no track, could be an afterthought.

Since this is a show about both Babes and Minnie's journeys I guess after the whole love thing, it would continue... of course Minnie, her studies, her career... Babita's business... Maybe reintroducing Meeta (but that would be a desperate step)...

Minnie falling in love and Hanuman getting possessive...

On a different note, did anyone notice how Hanuman told of Bobby? It was something like yeh na hoga... (I don't remember the exact dialogue) and took Minnie's hand away... for a second it felt like a dad being possessive about who his daughter says yes too... I liked those few seconds!

@bold - I am sure the makers have something unconventional in mind as the Twitter handle of the PH had said that the story is about Mini and babes. About future tracks ... They will surely show how these three adjust and function as a family unit as it is going to be a big deal for Mini then her parents encouraging Mini to pursue her dreams ... The career wise progress of Babes and HS. Mini is still a minor ... I think Hanuman will legally adopt her. Other than that I am excited to see Lala's Geeta Kumari maybe their marriage then in the long run they can show Babita's pregnancy and babes and HS learning to parent a baby as a couple.

My guess this track is planed recently just to drag Hanuman and Babita union because if Hanumanth was accused of murdering his wife court case and all it would have been disclosed long before.

do you think a person like Khatri would keep quiet, he would have taunted hanuman sigh and would have told mother-daughter due that they are living in a murderer house.

Interesting Track hope it won't drag forever
