In the BTS where HS is at Naeem Bi's house, she is explaining to him that a woman cannot share her love. Was she referring to his love for Imarti or for alcohol?

I think he might have felt that Babita was trying to stop him like a wife would, like Imarti would. Maybe that ticked him off because she reminded him of Imarti's attempts to curb his drinking, or that she was trying to exercise wifely rights over him without giving him any rights as a husband. Actually, I don't think they are ready to accept each other as husband-wife. They have a long way to go.

I don't know why, but I always thought he would have stopped drinking the day after he married Imarti, after seeing her true nature on their wedding night and falling in love with her.

I also feel that Babita might bring up Imarti and would remind hanuman of her in a way that would bring his past memories alive.. I think Naem bi was talking about his love for imarti .. I don't think he is that much alcoholic to be honest..

I love the way he was justifying his frequency of drinking to indicate that he could not be categorized as an alcoholic.

Those bottles might be his last year stock..😆may be misguiding Naem bi and Babes to think he drinks too much.. I guess from time babes n Minnie have come in his haveli.. he is normally either solving mother's problem at night or sleeping in his net after hearing babes anklet .. drinking addiction is bad that's fine if they want to bring that up..but I don't find him an addict..it's not like without alcohol his hands wud shiver or he will be restless as he told Naem bi he is not regular drinker..

Naeem Bi was so melodramatic and HS was like what the heck is wrong with her.

Did you notice all the symbolism in today's episode? He said he was going to clean his place up. We laughed at it because it seemed like he was evading Minnie's questions but I genuinely think he wanted to clean the haveli, make it sparkle, as if to give everything a fresh start. Getting rid of the bottles and all the old, unwanted stuff at home was his way of starting to flush out the bitterness of the past.

I wanna know more about his POV on the delicate relationship between a man and a woman. If he knows that Babita loves him and can see her yearning for him, then why is he stopping himself?

Nahh, I don't think he would have stopped completely. I don't know what his habits were like before marriage or what the family dynamic was like during that time either. We were introduced to a HS who lived alone but let's not forget that there was a time when he lived with his Dadaji, and drunkard dad too. Who knows what HS would have been like at that time.

Yeah it would have been first small step to new beginnings..erasing those bitter memories of his past..how he has dealt with his loss with those beer bottles..they had to be thrown out for his new home with his daughter and his daughter ki mother.. but bechara ek saath itne saalon ka maal nikal rha tha aisa laga ..so many bottles..

Yeah more than precap I am also interested in knowing what's stopping him when he clearly knows she loves him..

@bold - YES! When HS was stocking up I was instantly reminded of my dad. He's the only who drinks in the house and that too on Fridays and Saturdays since those are his days off. And what he tends to do is, collect all the empty bottles and cans and every six months or so returns them to the Beer Store as he gets money for it. And I think that's what HS was doing too but Naeem Bi and Babes just assumed that he drinks that much all in one go. 😆
