@Gaushiv13 one single plot focus on various relations in the show Mom -Son ,brother , Parul -Meenu ,sisters and Mishti -BP/BM so the focus is not just on Mishti but pretty much on all the key characters .
@SheThought/Zindagi
All the planning and plotting is not just against Mishti but other people are being targeted as well .Abir is a victim too .Behind his back his mom and brother are plotting against him and he has no idea about it .Kuhu is a victim as well , the girl doesn’t know the guy she loves is planning to ditch her on her wedding day to get even with her sister and if the wedding happens she will end up with a guy who married her for revenge .Then we have Parul who is being used by Meenu for her selfish motives .Last but not the least one of the manipulator is a victim as well Kunal ..he is mislead by his own mom and is being used to achieve her motive .His past is brought just to keep a girl away from his elder brothers life .Everyone is being targeted by one single person Meenakshi Rajvansh
Infact most of them are being betrayed by their closed ones whom they trust a lot but at-least Mishti is aware of her enemies and has the support of loved ones .She just have to trust her people and share this news with them .The pain of being betrayed by the most trusted person in our life is 100 times more painful than getting ditched by random people in life .
Lastly regarding Mishti going through more than what normal people do in real life , you are right in real life it can get even worse than mere plotting shown here .Young girls with no support of parents end up in places where we don’t want any girls to be . I consider Mishti luckiest among all the other characters to have found supportive parents and a amazing life partner .its a matter of persecutive on how we view things
I definitely agree that we have manipulations in real life too ... Also in real life people don’t come in gaudy makeup, menacing expressions giving signals from 10 kms. that they are the villains..😆 It happens in subtle way, but has it’s damages ... It may be in form of household or office politics or in some case even more serious like you mentioned..In that context Mishti has landed up in a really good situation, where she got Bade Papa as father figure which can be sometimes rare even in real families. :)
Now talking about this show specifically; Mishti, Kuhu, Abir, Kunal, Parul certainly all of them are victims and they are understood for that too, but as a viewer, I can only see Mishti’s emotions being explored.. They don’t explore Kuhu and Kunal’s emotions at all.. Kunal ka toh bilkul bhi nahi.. Kuhu is shown to be a character who dislikes Mishti, but also has some subdued affection for her too.. They don’t capitalise on that “affection” part at all.. I am not saying she should just go and hug Mishti but at least show some discomfort while Kunal insults your sister...Does she not find anything odd at all with Kunal’s behaviour ? How the only thing he talks about when they are together is about breaking Mishti and Abir.. It’s never about them.. Same goes for Kunal.. As far as I remember, there has been just one or maximum two scenes where he felt slight remorse for using Kuhu, in this plan but after that he just gone with the flow, as if he is the most righteous one out there.. Is Meenu really ok harbouring so much hatred against a girl that she is ready to put the most disgusting blames on her head... Like u said, in another thread that KuKu have never even discussed their past... In that case it becomes difficult to even empathise with characters...
As for Mishti, her emotions are “comparatively” better explored. She has certainly landed up in a better situation, but does have her set of emotional baggages.. Her parents left her and the family that adopted her gave her everything.. That’s why she feels more responsible and thinks a lot before she acts.. Personally for me this is very real.. Sometimes even goodness can burden you.. In my family, we are four members and my brother is handicapped... Since I have seen my parents really struggling, this is something that makes me extra cautious as well.. Just like Mishti, even I think a lot before I act.. Even I don’t feel that allowed to make mistakes .. One wrong decision can affect the family in adverse ways, kind of thoughts remains at the back of my mind as well.. Now that does not mean that something wrong actually happens, but the thought is always there and it troubles even the simple decision makings... The reason I get this is may be because of my personal experience but also because it’s “shown”... Mishti speaks about that many times.. “My parents left me but also I got the best family”... Another thing is that Kuhu and Abir are not directly facing the consequences (at least so far) of MeeKu’s planning .. Mishti has been publically humiliated a lot of times for now.. She is the one who is being asked to choose .. Choose your love or I will attack your family moreover make you the reason of their miseries... Something she would not want even in her dreams... Still she is overcoming her inner turmoils with the confidence that BP instilled and the assurance Abir gave her from time to time through his actions.. That’s why I think the sympathies lie with Mishti.. She is the only character whose backstory is shown, whose dilemmas, vulnerability and courage is shown.. She makes mistakes .. Not all her decisions are great but she still has shown some guts..
Kuhu and Kunal might not be like Mishti, but there is a lot they can show with them too.. They can show how Kuhu’s life got affected when Mishti entered their lives.. Because as far as I remember, Kuhu did like Mishti as a child.. It was only after she entered the house the differences might have started.. Kuhu and Mishti’s relationship has changed .. What triggered that change can’t be just left to viewer’s imagination..
Also they must show some conflict of emotions with Kunal, while he is doing so wrong to everybody for people to at least understand their characters, if not sympathise..
😊
