yes IB pre-launch promos didn't have anything related to FLs....it was only about Oberoi family, Obros....I was not on SM and I was not aware of the FLs...but those promos did want to check out the Obros and the dysfunctional Oberoi family.....those Annika/SC was what held me to watch the show and then Shivaay and Shivika.....

true...even i was new viewer and i donno about those initial chaos when i joined...but i did come across lot of tweets from initial stage...and those mostly were saying she is not at all impressive...but sc made it...and i juz hope sanjivani should also become good decision in her career...thats it...

And word. This promo deffo didn’t pique my interest either. Rather the story now looks even more cliched and predictable.

Leads ka so called idealistic clash also sounds stale.

All the best to SC but I’m gonna safely predict right now. This show is unlikely to last beyond the usual 6-8 months in this slot. Just like the 2-3 shows before it. Yeh comedy musical won’t work in this slot. IB ka wacky vibe also only worked cuz 10 pm slot. 7:30 mein quirky nahin chalta.

I thought SC-NK would be ok together but this promo makes them look pretty Mehh together 😆

Such a huge cast....everyone will be fighting for SS and montage space as usual again. Haha

well for Star , 7:30 PM slot has not been doing any good from the time YHM has been moved to 10:30 slot...lets see if Sanjivini brings that slot back for the channel...also it seems that Rohit Roy in his IV or insta live told the show is finite.....but how much is finite we dont know.....😆

@bold...yes the cast is actually very interesting but the promo is clearly only mentioned about leads and hospital ...nothing much about the cast....

i dont think so...rohit was seen saying loss shouldnt occur... from this we can safely conclude he is more of corporate type...and sayantani was also with him and in one of her IV she said she is combination of doctor and business woman...

and MB was saying he will handle it since he is the boss...and again in one of the iv i had read it said that even though leads will be at loggerheads they will follow MB...

Rohit is not doctor from the insta posts.....looks like he is the head of hospital from Administration side and I think he has grey shades...nothing about Dr.Juhi in promo....about Monish Bahl, Dr.Shashank, its like season 1 only....all docs looking upto him...

Sayantani I am not sure..I have not read anything about her character....

Phew, I'm not the only one who didn't fall in love with the Indian doctors version of High School musical!

If I remember correctly Sid spoke about Sanjivini 2 being a more serious show with depth. If that is the case why would you come up with such a promo. Surely it would have been more beneficial to showcase a little more 'depth' in the promo so viewers have an idea of what to expect. I only hope for SC the show itself has more to it than snooze inducing cliches.

yes. rohit is not a doctor thats y i said corporate type. also in one article it was said that sanjivani will show corporatization of medical profession and will deal it with a drama. i dont know how much they will succeed in this.

but yeah rohit is business person and sayantani will also with team rohit but will be seen as good doctor.

my relief is they didnt show full promo only on rom-com even though it looks like one but they did showed professional side also and with a bit of character sketch. my only disappointment was the BG. but after watching that promo on repeat i'm feeling ok with it too since it is juz a initial promo.

KHKT ka case toh has been really horrendous 😆

But that’s what I’ve been saying for a while. These producers all end up at the same level so ppl shouldn’t expect much from Sid Malhotra either. Low TRP mili toh this show will go the psycho melodrama and supernatural way in a heartbeat too 🤷‍♀️.

I found the promo comical more than feel good. They are missing the spark of genuineness in this character intro promo. Sid’s character is really lacking in charisma in this promo. SC ate him alive😆.

Also the presentation of the standard hate equation looked childish in quite a stale fashion to me.

The candle on cupcake for the patient bit seemed like a nod to the DMG title sequence 😆

I’ll be the last person looking for DMG nostalgia here but that was the one thing that was actually well put together in the show. The title song sequence montage. Marketing was way better back then.

The supporting cast of intern doctors looks kinda underwhelming too.

The set up of the seniors administrators and senior doctors is again very similar to Dhoop Kinaare and it’s Indian TV remake of Kuch toh Log kahenge. MB was in that too and that had similar set of interns and senior doctors ka mix. Lol

Star these days is more TRP hungry...in less than 2 months if the trps are not of expected level , the way channel did revamp of the some of the shows w.r.t stories and characters is really bad ....

@bold...haha...SC has such a vibrant personality and a very strong screen presence....if her character comes even little bit close to what she is in real life , she will be dominant on screen....😆

@italics..I get what you are saying...I didn't know Namit before and if I had not known him as the ML before, he would have probably lost for me in that crowd....

@Bold.. little sane part of me agreeing to this but the hard core sc fan in me is overlooking these...but whatever i'm here only for sc and looking forward for the show on air. i believe sc can shoulder the entire show if that is required.

also not coming to any conclusion regarding story and character. but i want to believe that sc character will have shades to it.... that it is not only the way they showed in promo but there will be more to it
