Is Shahid Kapoor a Major Star After Kabir Singh?

Q. Is Shahid Kapoor a major star now. Is he bigger than a Tiger Shroff or Varun Dhawan considering Kabir Singh is bigger than their biggest hits. .

A. Still probably not in the star bracket and probably a mini star like a John Abraham or Kartik Aryan though Kabir Singh probably puts him ahead of them. If we go by final lifetime business then Prabhas and Vicky Kaushal are also big stars. Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff are bigger stars as if you look over the last few years there films open better than Shahid Kapoor because they have a bigger fan following. Shahid Kapoor will have to prove that Kabir Singh is not a one off, that does not mean 250 crore nett films have to come as thats not happening but you cant have crap like Udta Punjab, Shaandaar or Haider now if there is to be some star status after 15 years in the industry.

Also the major productions houses will probably credit the success more to the director of the film.

Don't trust Shahid's choice of movies at all. He always ends up choosing the ones which has scripts that he likes and challenges his acting abilities rather than selecting them on the basis of entertainment value or rather the ones which are capable of attracting audience to the theaters. Hopefully he has turned wiser.

As for Hrithik- am just glad he is back. Hopefully his movie with TS does not turn out as bad as the spy thriller with Katrina- can't even remember the name of the movie 😆

these are some of his latest films! Barring a VS film every now & then the guy has nothing to show off of. I have nothing against Shahid, but itna bhi bhau na de na, man. Fans bhi na somtimes 🤔

No. Not with a film like KS. To be a major star, the movie needs unanimous love from everyone. This movie isn’t it. Shahid is a super actor be it JWM or Haider! He has good range! Maybe he can give another hit with a better film. Sanju made 300cr. Did zilch for RK!

Tiger literally has only one big opening with Baaghi 2, all his other films have not even crossed 11 Crores. But BOI hypes him because he does movies of their favorite genre.😆

Haider and Udta are crap films? Sasta nasha phoonka hain iss bande ne. Gullyboy is still winning accolades at film festival circuits and many people on sm fondly talk about it its doing well on Amazon prime. BOI waale are stuck in masala of their imaginary curry.
