Yes. Zain wouldn't have taken up the show unless his character too has an important role in exposing Janhvi when time comes. Also the other show had the younger DIL as protagonist. Here it is the evil bahu. So I don't think it will be a typical mahaan baby vs evil bahu thing.

Back then in Tamil it has to follow the typical rules so it kept her as face but it was still more of grey bahu's story

All the episodes are in YouTube. After watching some episodes I have been disappointed on Shrenu's role. In Tamil serial Abirami character was shown completely as the negative one. Shanthi character was the good one. Shrenu should have been selected for Shanthi"s role.

Yeah i was thinking Tanvi shud have been the grey role and Shrenu the positive girl bcos they looked more similar to the original girls in that way. Tanvi is looking like the homely fake bahu while Shrenu is looking outwardly powerful yet really good.

May be u r right. She wud have surely garnered more supporters and fans had she is playing positive character that is relatable. But iam also enjoying Pooja who is not a saint.
