My mother is the only one in our house who watches KZK religiously from the pilot . She gives me complete update of the show and some times if fancy catches me I watch some parts in HS , though AnuPre bores me to death and the show was frankly speaking unwatchable for me till Bajaj entered . My mom hates Erica's portrayal of Prerna . She thinks Erica is not even 1 % of what Sweta Tewari was . Also, she thinks Parth as Anurag is good . She thinks Hina is the worst miscast as Komolika . The question that I ask her often is if you think the show sucks so bad why do you continue to watch it every single day ?? Why inflict this torture on oneself willingly ??

She says and I already knew the answer that she was a HUGE fan of the original show KZK1. It was her most fave show till date and she's great fond memories of her life associated with years long journey of KZK 1. That is and that is the only thing that is keeping her going and preventing her from quitting. The names Anurag - Prerna - KOmolika-Mohini-Nivedita-Moloy-Bajaj-Prem-Sneha etc. rings a tune inside her heart that echoes through her better judgement.

And she loves the drama , she's expecting the Prerna-Bajaj marriage because that is how it happened in KZK 1 and if it doesn't happen then what is even the point of watching this bullshit show and the world's most bland and idiotic love story of KZK2 and incapable leads ?? The day CVs shift the show away from the original in a big and basic way , the day the spell of nostalgia ends for the larger part of the viewers and that day the show is truly doomed.

ETA : My mom was a great fan of Sweta Tiwari's Prerna, she remains till date her favorite TV show heroine along with Kasaf . So , to be fair with Erica, she just might be tiny bit biased regarding her views about Erica's Prerna. Come on how bad could Erica be ( other than her dialog delivery which truly sucks ! ) ?? She was wonderful as Sonakshi Bose and I was a big fan of hers.

Lol, your mom sounds almost like me when it comes to KZK and the views about actors 😂 I feel the same exact way mostly. I love Shweta and KZK was most fav show. It still is along with Geet. But KZK has that nostalgia which no other show has it for me. That’s why when I come to this forum, it makes me sad and very nostalgic. I try to not come, but I can’t stop it either sometimes. I loved KZK too much, Anupre, Sneha, Prem, Mukti, Aparna, etc.

When Anupre are together there is no entertainment (for me), they are too mushy. I like pairing like Asad and Zoya, Shivaay and Annika, Aditya and Zoya even Sonakshi and Dev even. Who bicker/argue sometimes like crazy but still be together somehow. I like that kind of chemistry.

PreRish in this case not fit into that category but one thing is Prerna and Rishabh both are strong, they were not each other's weakness rather strength. I always like that Prerna who she became with Rishabh not the one with Anurag.

And due to nostalgia, I would love it if PreRish ends up together.

I guess u failed to understand my view as ekta said during the beginning of s2 that she wanted anupre to be loved the most but prejaj was established due to trp back then.

I know many in my colony who became so excited that KZK has started. I am not going to sit and dissect which couple had a bigger fandom . Because both had a huge following. But there was a official poll conducted by EK during KZK to ask which couple they want coz at that Pre had started having soft corner for Bajaj though she was in love with Anu..

And that poll 79-21 said everything. EK got the answer and knew she had to show Prerna in love with Bajaj because audience had royally thrashed Anu Pre jodi. I mean this is the first time in history of ITV that only 21% wanted the lead couple together!!

You PRB fans keep bringing that one poll to prove PRB was more loved when the track was about Anu’s butchering so obviously many would’ve not sided with Anupre at the time. And btw, it wasn’t the first time that audience didn’t side with lead couple and didn’t want them together in a track where male lead or female lead were shown wrong and the track was against them. It has has happened in other shows too. It wasn’t a big deal when the track was for PRB and against anupre at the time. That’s why despite Ekta having issues with Cizzana, she couldn’t just kill off his character and had to bring a replacement and give Anupre as the end game. She knew what would’ve happened if she didn’t. Most were watching till the end just to see Anupre together which they finally got it in the end.

I am not the one saying PRB was more loved. In fact, they weren’t even equal to the popularity of Anupre. So there isn’t even comparison. If they were at least 40-50% equal to Anupre, then there would’ve been comparison. It’s you PRB fans who have been bringing that one poll saying see PRB were more loved which wasn’t true. Since I came to this forum recently, I keep hearing the same ONE poll saying how PRB was more loved as if one poll proves anything for a show of 7-8 years.

And btw, Sheha. That’s how all your posts start with first praising Anupre and how you loved them and then downplaying them saying how PRB were better and how you liked them more. We get it. You love PRB. No need to fake praise Anupre just for the sake of convincing others that PRB whom you actually Love for real are better. I can also play the same game as I do like Ronit and prove my points, but I don’t.

So I don’t think it’s parica’s fault. I would rather completely watch original again and then watch this as I do like Parica too even though I am not their fan. Hot star wasn’t available internationally before, but recently it has been. So it will be easier to watch. I don’t think most trp audience have actually watched the full KZK1 as it was years long. So most have watch most years of it and then didn’t watch some years of it due to life. That’s why most don’t want to watch this season as they were too attached to the first season and would rather watch that esp since this season is nowhere comparable to the first. I find only Parth as Anurag really good. I watch some episodes of this season if the episodes are good. My sister badly wants to complete watch KZK1 as she was a big fan of it. She has been keep asking me to find a way for her to watch original kzk as once I gave her free vpn which stopped on her. But recently I found out that hotstar is now available internationally. So once I can decide to register for hotstar, I will give her when it’s the right time.

at that time social media was not so much popular for discussing serial topics or in general .. a biggest bunch of s1 viewers were out from sm totally . so we dont know either they r watching or not ... specially the forum people . bajaj's entry just 2 hapto hui hai , so we cant predict how much bajaj fans from s1 is watching ... i am saying in general , a lot of ex audience are also watching kzk for s1 fondness...TRP rate is saying this...if compared with first week and the current bajaj week (during world cup)... TRP pe jeyada farak nei aye hai (where a lot of anupre fans already reject already) , bass dute to ex charm iyea drastically fall on nei hua... a lot of time it is consistent like this .. .. komo track got highest TRP ... . ..that is why i have said a lot of ex kzk loyal fans are watching show.. ab iyea 90s kid bhi ho sakte hai , or nei toh hamare mom generation ... . more than bajaj , they are s1 fans.. yup they may stop watching for the track or either .. but started for the nostalgia n also continued as well as in some where . . and kzk1 's charm is nowhere in kzk2 .. but wohi purana emotion kabhi kabhi khichke lehi ate hai .

অপ্সরা ভুল বলতেসো। ওই ছবি গুলি বাজাজ প্রেরনা যখন ম্যারেড ছিলো তখন তোলা হয় নাই। যখন অনুরাগ প্রেরনা ম্যারেড ছিলো তখন তোলা হইসে ইনটেনশনালি মিস আন্ডারস্ট্যান্ডিং ক্রিয়েট করার জন্য। ঠিকই বলসো তখন বাজাজ সাইকো লাভারের মত বিহেভ করসে। আমার ধারনা একতা বাজাজ কে নেগেটিভই দেখাতে চাইসিলো। কিন্তু রনিত আর প্রিজাজের পপুলারিটির জন্য স্টোরি চেঞ্জ করসে। সেজন্যই পরে ছবিগুলি যে বাজাজের তোলা সেটা আর ক্লিয়ার করে নাই।
