Not really. Malavika is a much more prevalent Indian name than Malaika. Kalidasa ( he is an ancient Indian playwright) wrote his first play called Malavika Agnimitra about a king called Agnimitra and his love for a called Malavika. So it’s a proper Indian name. Malaika on the other hand apparently has African origins and means Angel in some African languages.

Was he. I mean representation shouldn't be joked about like this in the first place. The tweet just leaves a lot to interpretations. Him being Ranveer's friend when he was also in contention doesn't help either.

It wasn’t that serious. He is a Parsi himself hence the poke which he later had to clarify as being a joke.

How does it matter if He is friends with Ranveer? Ranveer is doing a movie with Vicky too. Ranveer has nothing to do with this. It’s like Kjo doing something and Srk being called out. 🤦🏼‍♀️
