I agree with you. Even there are some things that I don't like in this show. But if I open my mouth some people will misunderstand me and taunt me indirectly. But we have to be really honest. For the wellbeing in the show.
I think the first 200 episodes of this show has been quite good, minus just one bad track. But then after that the show has been on some other path especially after Dadi Bua's track. I won't complain about pervy track and guddan hospital track cause those tracks were really well executed specially cause of Nishant's acting and Akshan's chemistry. But this Antra track just spoiled everything.
It isn't pathetic like other shows second women track but its still not a good track for this show I believe especially when the show has been doing so well.
The makers of this show need to know how to make use of the chemistry of Nishant-Kanika. Frankly speaking for me they share the best chemistry among all ITV couples till date. But their chemistry has kinda been underused in certain tracks especially this current track. I think the week before Antra's track those episodes were genuinely good cause the main focus was on Akshan, there wasn't much negative scenes and more of positive and full of Akshan.
But from what I see in the promos and initial episodes, I am glad the makers were quick to understand more than the concept its the pair's chemistry and story thats the MVP of this show which cause them to immediately shift focus on the lead's story. But sometimes they want to step on two boats. They want to impress trp aunties but they also want to impress youth audiences too. So thats why as much as they show fizul ka drama in the show they equally show amazing Akshan scenes.
I haven't been watching Hindi shows for a while last year but this show really impressed me a lot midway after Akshan recently got married. Even the initial episodes didn't impress me much but there was a fun element which is missing now as you said.
The negative characters in this show besides Perv are poorly written. Even Angad who is a positive character for now is also poorly written when he was negative. They didn't show a proper flow of his character at all, if not this character actually had potential. Durga is one character I can never understand or like(but the actress is doing a great job) Saru is a weird character they could have made her character more fun rather than poking into other matters type(maybe a funny bahu who loves stealing) stealing tak thik tha but after that instigating ppl that's really bad.
Frankly speaking i am not even excited for the episodes of this show these days as much as I used to. It's not just cause of world cup. Even when hospital track was going on, world cup was going on too. I still made sure I watched the episode right after the match ended online, and I was on vacation at the same time. My aunt is a bigger fan of this show so it was easy for me to watch the episodes there. But currently I don't even care that i have to watch Guddan episodes, I missed some episodes too and caught up today as I was really bored. I really hope they end this Antra track ASAP. I really can't tolerate this track at all. Akshan scenes are the only reason why i am still tolerating and following the show.
And one more thing. Ppl say change of director doesn't make a difference but I think it does make a differene and nowadays when i see the episodes I can say that clearly the director is changed. Things just isn't the same as it was earlier on in the show.
I am sorry if some ppl here don't like my opinions but I am just being frank and honest
