In India, Bollywood and cricket go hand in hand and there have been many instances of Bollywood celebrities being in a relationship with Indian cricketers; be it Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan or Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. If recent reports are to go by, actress Athiya Shetty is dating cricketer KL Rahul.
A source close to Bollywood Life revealed, "Rahul and Athiya have been going around with each other. They started dating since a little before February, this year. And things are quite serious." Apparently, the two met each other through mutual friends.
Interestingly, the only time these two were seen together was when their mutual friend Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor posted a picture of the trio on Instagram in April this year.
When asked about their dating rumours, Athiya and Rahul preferred not to discuss it.
Meanwhile, Athiya Shetty made her Bollywood debut with the film Hero alongside Sooraj Pancholi and the actress was later seen in Mubarakan and Nawabzaade. On the work front, Athiya will be next seen in Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Motichoor Chaknachoor.
