Child artiste Armaan Ahmed is a fan of Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. No problem, Jaya aunty got all three of them on the phone and ordered them to talk to the child!
On the sets of Love Songs: yesterday today and tomorrow, Jaya Bachchan bonded very well with child-actor Armaan Ahmed. So much so, that during a chat session Jaya learnt that Armaan's favourite stars were Hrithik, Abhishek and Aishwarya (Dhoom 2 is his favourite film). She promptly dialled the numbers of the three stars and got them to talk to Armaan.
Our source from the unit of the film informed us, "While shooting, Jaya asked Armaan who his favourite actors were and he instantly replied 'Hrithik, Abhishek and Ash!' Jaya then asked Armaan if he would like to speak to them. Armaan thought that she was just joking. But when she actually called up the actors on her mobile phone, Armaan was completely tongue-tied. He went red in the face. Jayaji quietly handed the phone to Armaan saying it was Hrithik on the line. Ditto with Abhishek and Ash!"
When contacted, little Armaan told us about his conversation with Hrithik. He said, "I told Hrithik uncle to come to Kolkata! He said he would visit me only if I studied hard. I told him I wanted to fly just the way he did in Krrish.
And Hrithik uncle told me that he'd take me with him flying all around the world."
Armaan was also delighted to talk to his other idols. He said, "Abhishek told me to come to Mumbai. He also asked me if I liked Dhoom 2. Ash aunty was very sweet and she wanted to know everything about Kolkata. The one thing that Hrithik uncle, Abhishek uncle, and Ash aunty told me was to study hard and listen to my parents. I just want to tell them that I have been following what asked me to, very sincerely."
Elaborating on Jaya's role in the film, our source said, "Jaya plays the role of Armaan's grandmother in the film. Armaan, who was initially shy, gradually began opening up to Jaya and the two began bonding with each other. He started to look up to Jaya as truly his grandmother! And Jaya enjoyed playing grandma to him off-screen too! She made Armaan feel absolutely at home on the sets."
