2 pieces of info for the people who have problems with Jahnvi calling Kabir bhaiya previously ( I don't think she will continue it post revamp ).

Devdas, the renowned lover boy was called Dev dada ( brother ) by Paro in the original book written by Sarat Chandra chattopadhyay.

Also Bhavi falling for devar or vice versa wasn't uncommon (nostoneer by Tagore, choritroheen by Sarat Chandra etc. ) in the classic novels written in the pre independence era.

This is 2019.

Just saying !

Thanks for bringing this in picture 🤗 yup this 2019 but sadly mentality has not changed , India has produced brilliant writers like premchand , Sarat Chand ji , Rabindranath Tagore n many more

Ravindra Nath Tagore And Sarat Chandra classic books, I doubt anyone reads now a days , people are more busy hiding behind the screen n giving free ka Gyan n judge

I have also heard somewhere that devar means dwi bar aka second husband. Like the hindi for sis in law, saali is jokingly called Adhi gharwali. Also marrying your SIL after wife is dead or separated is not uncommon in movies as well as in real world. Almost happened in the super sanskari hum apke hai kaun. Even mausi is often implied as 'maa Jaisi' ( like mother ). But the gender reversal is 'impossible'.

Ahem 'glass ceiling' ahem !

@bold I too am not sure about it. But it doesn't even matter because the rest of what we were discussing was true and no1 can rationally deny that.

@italics yes. They might feel it to be romantic after Kabir stops respecting her and starts behaving rude and arrogant towards her. That's what a woman deserves from a significant other as per the general mindset. That and global judgement.

Devar-bhabhi marriage is not uncommon. Many shows have shown that too, including Kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi.

Ohh I didn't know about the dwi bar thing, sounds interesting! Thanks for sharing!

Tagore, Sarat Chandra are legends
