Logic VS Entertainment

As much as the first three episodes are entertaining, In the 4 th episode they raised a kind of debate of Logic VS Entertainment regarding TV shows between the leads lol..It kinda reminded me of my own experience in various forums...This debate happens in forums too...Sonakshi kinda represents the writers of TV shows and also represents audience/ppl who says "We watch the show for the entertainment...there is no need to nitpick the things spreading the negativity..."... Some ppl even advise "if you dont like the show,dont watch it,there is a remote in your hand blah blah😆....Rohit kinda represents the ppl who pulls out their hair and crib about various nonsensical tracks in the shows...Also there are the people who are in middle ground where they try to overlook few minor logicless things if the storylines are good ,and still laugh at the lame things taking it as lulz....but what if the show is beyond ridulous like Parvathi ki kahani?😆Even the ppl in middle ground can tolerate such shit ?? No right😆I think i belong to middle ground lol ...Here Sonakshi's side of debate doesnt make any sense...Tumhara Show "parvathi ki kahaani" mein toh logic nahi hai Sonakshi ji...Okay...atleast tumhara debate mein toh logic honi chahiye right?😆

Sonakshi's dialogues are:

We are artists...hamara kaam hai logon ka entertain karna..We want ppl forget all the stress kuch hi samay keliye hi sahi apni stress ko bhool jaye, thodi ummeed mile, thodi khushiya mile..dil mein thodi si jasbaat,ummeed barte hai...sabke dimag alag alag sochte hai...lekin dil ke emotions sab ke liye ek sey hi hote hai,sabko bura lagta hai,dukh hoti hai,takleef hoti hai dard hota hai...Kya galat hai agar hum chahte hai ki kuch samay ke liye ye logic ka safed rang hatake hum emotions and jassbat ke rang barde (😆)..Whats the harm? Agar hum chahte hai ki hamare audience jo hame dekh rahe hai wo thodi ummeed mile,thodi der keliye muskuraye ..its harmless right ?"

These are the dialogues of Sonakshi😆.These (particularly bolded lines)are making any sense if you take her hospital scene as example ? 😆..So if we take the hospital scene where She wear OT dress on the top of the saree and went inside the OT and operated on her husband and successfully brings back his died husband alive🤣 when even Doc couldnt save him😆...

So what ummeed/hope she is baroing here in the audience ? So when Doc failed to save your husband, you can still save your husband life by gussoing in OT operating on him ?🤣...So this is the hope audience would develop in their real life?😆..

And my main question to Sonakshi and writers of TV shows😆..Why logic should be compramised in the writing while providing entertainment in the TV shows ? Cant Logic and entertainment go hand in hand?..IMO it is just an excuse given by writers of TV shows for their lack of creativity and lazy writing...If you accept that you have no creativity and you are lazy instead of defending your layered writing with silly excuses...ppl dont even question you....but when you defend it....You are forcing the ppl to nitpick the lame things in your TV shows lol😆...

Okay in first three episodes, TV actresses life was shown kinda realistically...but in today episode i felt they went overboard...bcz real TV actresses/actors toh aise defend nahi karte writing ko to such an extent,they also laugh and troll the things behind the camera atleast the actors i followed offscreen lol😆..

Anyway my ranting is over😆

Anyway i never had any expectations from this show...i randomly watched it when i was feeling bored and today's debate in the show toh compelled me to make this post in the forum lol

Anyway I have to add...the third episode was the best...my stomach was seriously hurting seeing the actions of the Maids while watching the TV and the reactions of Rohit toh🤣... His reactions while watching the hospital scene on TV reminded me of my own reactions while i was watching the crap show DIB on TV🤣

I have similar thoughts about Sonakshi’s lecture from yesterday’s epi. Reeked a little too much of the justifications most TV actors and writers when faced with any criticism about lack of sense in Tv shows aajkal 🤷‍♀️🙄.

My simple question is - why do these people take their work so seriously? Is it really so hard to ADMIT you are showing nonsense even if your goal is to entertain otherwise? Why are these things mutually exclusive now? You can acknowledge the reality of how stupid the writing is while taking pride in your hard work too. These people seem to think any criticism of brainless storylines is a criticism of them directly and they start getting weirdly defensive 🙄🙄 and start giving even stupider reasoning to justify their shows.

They lack a sense of self deprecation about their work and that is what puts me off. I would respect them more if they could be honest but they have either bought into the absurdity for real or they are defensive in blindly defending their shows cuz they give them money and fame.

Sonakshi’s magic and UMMEED line had me facepalming big time. What “ummeed” is there in a sari clad woman doing a medical procedure without training? These ppl seem to think this is the same level of harmless fantasy as a teenager dreaming of a Prince Charming. Umm no, it’s not 🙄. People considering TV characters actual gods is not harmless. This casual acceptance of lowering of IQ and detachment from reality is unfortunate.

The way they are justifying it in the show is also not correct.

Lol what umeed? Umeed ke ek din aap bhi randomly kisi pe heart surgery perform kar sakte hain without any experience🤣🤣 Or zinda karo dead people🤪 Yeah right

Anyway dekhte hain kab tak intrest rehta hai zyada nahi chalega ig they go into ott self victimization ,self defence and bhashans

Parvati also seems to be suffering from the same mere show ko criticize kar dia toh mere pe ilzam laga dia why is it so hard to keep parvati and sonakshi aside saying parvati does stupid nonsense isn't like saying sonakshi is stupid but thay defensive statement really made sonakshi looked idiot too as rohit rightfully said .

I think showing parvati operating on her husband was a bit too much. They cud hv shown her fighting with God and crying buckets and buckets and ola!! Her husband is alive which we actually see on tv...but operating without medical training was bullshit 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

But if u see they themselves r making a huge mockery of these shows. And her justification was a big lol 🤣🤣🤣

There are many such IVs of actors i read (couldnt find now) which boggles our mind and it shows clearly they are sold out🤔....but Sonakshi toh aage nikle compared to them lol,bcz i am sure these real life TV actors are aware or believe that they are showing nonsense and they know they are defending it bcz producers want them to do it,but Sonakshi toh it seems she believe that the nonsense they are showing actually brings hope/ummeed, what not in the audience🤔😆

If Sonakshi's lecture made even little bit sense i would have still hopes on them that they try to balance it with Rohit's counter arguements and they dont justify it...but here they have shown in the previous episode how doc conveyed his hug to the person who said such inspirational poem and blah blah...And also they are trying to justified it by showing how little girl actually benefitting from TV character parvathi...it is very unrealistic that some 6 yr old child (age dont remember exactly) getting inspiration/strength from a TV character in the first place lol...I mean i dont think 6 yrs old child takes the TV character words so seriously..

Wahi toh.. The maid's serious reactions while watching such nonsensical scene on TV and buying into it cracked me up but i expected better from the lead character Sonakshi lol....She seems delusional now talking nonsense and believing that all the nonsensical stuff would bring ummeed in the audience lives😆

Hey yesterday on high recommendations u saw epi 3 and dr.sippy was so so hilarious😂😂😂..the way he trolled TV serials ..

He actually wanted to file a complaint to indian medical council is even 😂😂😂😂

I haven't seen any other epi only this one and I am still laughing

Rohit's reaction to TV show scene though exaggerated I enjoyed because of the stupidity shown in most shows. I am sure most of us have felt like him many times.

But I wish sonakshi's attitude was shown differently. Her lecture rang very false as if the writers were defending themselves. I don't get what umeed will viewers get from such TV shows which are usually filled with negativity plotting scheming (I am talking the kind if stereotypical show kahan parvati ki is shown to be) so all that umeed muskurahat speech was crap..had it been a slapstick illogical comedy show she was airking on it was appropriate to say why can't one stop thinking of logic and just get entertained. But from such shows instead of umeed entertainment or smile what we often feel is what ronit felt seeing it.

Anyway I wish it was self deprecating instead if defensive. But let's see what they do in future.

After hearing Sonakshi's answer, I guess it looks like this how those involved in these shows rationalize the nonsense they put out... by saying it's all about entertainment and bringing hope to people. My reaction to Sonakshi's dialogues was the same as Rohit's. It did come across as senseless preaching; more like something a 'Parvati' would say. Sonakshi was just blindly defending the whole thing.

I think good creativity should be about keeping things entertaining while making sure things are within logic. I wish Rohit had countered Sonakshi's point by asking... What could have gone wrong if the doctor managed to perform the surgery and save the patient? Would it have lessened the hope or positivity? But looks like the point of this debate is to justify Sonakshi's and the TV industry's stance.
