Audiences saw sonakshi scene they say their are justifying . Audiences after seeing Dr Rohit hilarious scene they are saying they are trolling TV . They are not trying to prove any one side as correct .Their intention to entertain us not to take any side or prove anyone as correct .

Infact that TV scene omg I laughed so much and Dr Rohit hilarious expressions .Even yesterday s episode he creating chaos his expressions seeing body double was hilarious. Then after fighting he shouts at her poster.I found the matter is being stretched out too far.Thankfully it ended there. Now I think their meeting at opening ceremony of his hospital is going to be more fun.

This is how fandoms work. They will never accept the nonsense shown in their fav shows. 🤦‍♂️

There was this show where the FL’s tears revives a dead ML. And the fans go around boasting as if it is the most unique show on ITV. 😆

Melodrama has started in this show as well. That scene where Rohit was hanging from a tree branch with a dog hanging on to his leg was so unrealistic.

First I don’t understand how one can crack jokes when you are in such a perilous situation. Second, I don’t understand Sonakshi’s reaction. Instead of helping him, she was throwing tantrums and some banter was going on between the two. It was actually like they were sitting on a bench and talking.

Is this how on would react to cries of help? Very unrealistic treatment to that scene.

LOL and who said that only Indian audiences go overboard when it comes to taking shows seriously?

People are over the top about every small thing in Western shows as well....but the difference is that nothing in western shows is as asinine as the pervasive senselessness in Indian TV soaps. Are we really going to normalize a track of a bahu doing surgery now? 😕😆

And as far as I know, western actors don't defend mindlessness in their shows to the extent Indian actors seem to. For e.g. Game of Thrones got a lot of criticism for it's last season from the fans....and all the actors didn't blindly defend it....they acknowledged that they may have done things differently but it was the writer's call......they didn't try to claim they were doing some social service to present "magic" to people. How you conduct yourself as an artist is what earns you respect.

As for blaming the audience for such tracks....lol again, that is the easy way out....what are writers trying to say? That the audience actively WANTS to see tracks like a bahu operating on her husband? Oh please.....people can't even IMAGINE this shit until writers come up with senseless nonsense and people watch it out of morbid curiosity. Exploiting the perverse nature of human curiosity like this and then blaming people for it is quite a bad faith argument. When you mindlessly feed SHIT to people for years and then expect them overnight to develop taste for gourmet, then you really don't know how to develop a market for a product.

I find this to be a pretty pathetic defense by TV writers and actors. This is the easy way out rather than making the effort to write something that is entertaining but not THIS senseless. They try to skew the issue by claiming ppl only want super logic or super "fantasy"....not true....people can find a middle ground for entertainment but you only feed them nonsense for the shock value and gimmicks. That is the truth. And then these people ironically play victim if anyone states the truth that this is nonsense.....lol

Actually Kit Harrington and Sophie Turner both tried to defend I the last season of GoT. Kit basically said the critics can go f*** themselves. Sophie felt that people trying to rubbish something because its not what they want to see is disrespectful. So I actually agree with the other commentators point, Sonakshi defending what she does in general is a pretty natural reaction. That doesn't mean she has to agree with a particular storyline and maybe later we would see her rebuke that type of storyline. But the general gist of what she does is something that helps bring a little hope or magic into the world. Also world over people do buy into superhero or fantasy storylines even though they are completely unrealistic. So there is a certain part of human nature that seeks out this type of vicarious empowerment.

Also I think we have to acknowledge that there is a certain large subset of the audience that buys into these types of shows. Hence shows with any sort of sense either end up failing or get converted into some regressive saas-bahu saga. I have seen many many decent shows being rejected over the years for failing to comply to the traditional Indian TV tropes. Star one used to have some great shows.. but overall it wasn't sustainable as a channel. Actually if you look back into the history of Indian television we were exposed to a fair number of excellent shows in the 90s. But that was when only the educated or the elite had television. As television became more ubiquitous, the tastes of the masses changed into what is popular nowadays. As much as you want to blame the show runners there is only so much they can do if the vast majority won't tune into quality content. Its a chicken and the egg issue.
