Of course it's about trps . Audiences stop watching it the shows will stop. We call TV regressive but it's we who make it work.So who is to be blamed ? When sonakshi was responding to Rohit it wasn't the scene in her show ...she was talking about TV in general that how her job is to make people forget their issues for half n hour and there is section of audiences like Rohit s maid who watch certain shows .

Now talking about that scene they took it too far for comedy purpose by showing her going to OT and operating him. 😆On TV they do show the wife praying for her husband and God listens to prayers and the husband recovers but here 😆 nways it's funny to watch .It's a light hearted show .

The truth is such scenes bring in high trps.If the scene had no drama the doctor saves the patient with parvati doing nothing would it bring trps. In Bollywood also they show one hero hits ten goons at once.So hero hitting ten goons = untrained person successfully bringing her dead husband back alive by operating a medical procedure on a dead body ?? The latter is beyond the level of insanity..

So It's illogical and unrealistic but people like it. Secondly hectic shoots writers have to write storylines to accommodate actor s absence.Scripts change last minute. Oh man pls dont talk about hectic shoots hectic life of writers infront of me...There are many professions where ppl have hectic schedule, no one listen your sobstory in any other professions,they only see the quality of product/outcome of your work..So i dont get why Writers are getting excuses here?..and what storylines are you talking about ? Where is the story in the daily soaps?

What reality? Untrained person doing a medical procedure? Or Hospital scene bringing umeed in the real lives of audience(acc to Sonakshi's lecture😆) ??

It's about sonakshi s life and Rohit sippy life belonging to different worlds .Still how they connect .So both are characters are right from where they stand . It's not about mocking or justifying .

Then just Show the different worlds of them.What is the necessity of such lame lecture scene of Sonakshi if its not about justifying..Mocking was shown by Rohit and lecture by Sonakshi justifying it..but you say its not about mocking or justifying

Like i already mentioned in previous reply....If you want to defend your industry try to make some sense while defending....dont say stupid things like "bringing ummeed in the lives of audience blah blah " after showing such nonsensical scene😆...Defend it by saying trp aunties are liking such shit and our show is on the top of trp charts,so we continue to show such shit..And we need only trps, money and fame😆...Then Rohit would have understood her point.....but instead She blabbered a bakwas...So Rohit called it bakwas😆...

People are over the top about every small thing in Western shows as well....but the difference is that nothing in western shows is as asinine as the pervasive senselessness in Indian TV soaps. Are we really going to normalize a track of a bahu doing surgery now? 😕😆

And as far as I know, western actors don't defend mindlessness in their shows to the extent Indian actors seem to. For e.g. Game of Thrones got a lot of criticism for it's last season from the fans....and all the actors didn't blindly defend it....they acknowledged that they may have done things differently but it was the writer's call......they didn't try to claim they were doing some social service to present "magic" to people. How you conduct yourself as an artist is what earns you respect.

As for blaming the audience for such tracks....lol again, that is the easy way out....what are writers trying to say? That the audience actively WANTS to see tracks like a bahu operating on her husband? Oh please.....people can't even IMAGINE this shit until writers come up with senseless nonsense and people watch it out of morbid curiosity. Exploiting the perverse nature of human curiosity like this and then blaming people for it is quite a bad faith argument. When you mindlessly feed SHIT to people for years and then expect them overnight to develop taste for gourmet, then you really don't know how to develop a market for a product.

I find this to be a pretty pathetic defense by TV writers and actors. This is the easy way out rather than making the effort to write something that is entertaining but not THIS senseless. They try to skew the issue by claiming ppl only want super logic or super "fantasy"....not true....people can find a middle ground for entertainment but you only feed them nonsense for the shock value and gimmicks. That is the truth. And then these people ironically play victim if anyone states the truth that this is nonsense.....lol

Well said. As much as i agree with all the points you mentioned, I want to add...I want the trp aunties to stop watching shit like Naaagin,Divya Drishti,PKK etc., and reject this shitty content...I really wonder how they even watch such shit and .They know what they are showing is insane,but they still watch it "out of habit"...I even asked my mom many times , 'Do you really like these (regional) TV shows ?How can you even watch such shows?" Her answer is - "I know what they are showing is nonsense...I dont even like them..But i watch TV out of habit.There is nothing to watch on TV other than this" 🤔 ...And when i wanted to explain her how you are giving trp and encouraging such nonsense to continue on TV...She was like "what is even trp? ..Even if i stop watching , it doesnt count much ...Everyone is watching" 🤔...So i feel audience also should be blamed for encouraging such nonsense by giving trps.While I'm saying this I'm not defending TV writers/actors who justify their shitty content by putting the blame on the trp aunties , they can still show creative content which ppl would like and give trps...If not creative content,atleast try to avoid the level of insanity you are showing in the name of entertainnent...And again i wonder whether ppl are really watching this shit or there is a locha in trp system and they bribing trp wale to show top trps...Otherwise how come ppl watch half lizard-half human and half snake-half human(even regional shows doesnt show such level of insanity TBH)😕😆...and how come every week such shit is on the top of Trp charts😕😆...

I'm the person who hardly watched 3-4 TV shows ...NBT, IB (stopped watching around first Shivika separation,after that i watched Shivika in bits and pieces) , SBRK (only 2 months until it made sense,),Dehleez (last 2 months i watched)...all the other shows i watched are very few episodes and so I'm not taking them into consideration...ofcourse i had to watch DIB as i was determined to troll the content of Gulneet after what they had done to Shivika lol...

First of all u got to understand that particular scene of parvati operating her husband was for comedy I don't think there is any scene shown in history of TV where a woman goes in OT and operates a husband . But the conclusion of that scene there are a lot of illogical scenes and most of the times doctors are shown in bad light. They are always shown useless and it's the faith of central character due to which patient get saved and doctor comes out saying miracle miracle ....but most of the times it's women who watch such series who are huge fan and believers of mythogical stories like satyavan savitri who brought her husband back to life. So when she said faith hope belief she said in filmy way that what he meant was it's making them believe anything is possible with power of prayers faith ..believe ...it's fake but it's makes them happy which is true or else serial like sasural simar Ka would never work. The audience knows its not true it doesn't happen still it makes happy.

Why would sonakshi call shit for her work ? Does that make sense for an actress to say like this .... It's like disrespecting her work her audiences.
