Indian culture is way better. I don't like it when they show school going kids dating or smooching in Hw movies. I feel there is a age for everything.

Plus our culture is so diverse from north to south. Whereas Hw everything is just the same. I also like how we have big families , joint families and all celebrations.

Although not Bollywood, but Indian television has started normalizing teen romance. The show Ye unn dino ki baat hai had a teen couple in lead role, and the story even takes place in 90s.😆

Bollywood closer to my heart and culture so I relate to it more than Hollywood.

I wouldn’t know for sure as I rarely watch HW movies and now BW movies too. BW doesn’t interest me anymore with the exception of very few stars’ work now. I know more about what happens in BW, but I haven’t actually watched bw new movies for years now because they aren’t the same as how they used to be. It’s very few which give me the vibe of old bw which then interest my family and I. Most of them are trash now with nepotism filled kids or crappy music and just mediocre movies.

But American shows are great. I have watched lots of them and still do. And if most hw movies are like that in terms of quality which some seem to be from watching some hw movies, then HW is way ahead than BW. There’s not even a competition except may be if we take the old bw minus the sexism, regressive and patriarchy in those old bw movies. Because those old BW movies used to have soul, give an actual bw/Indian vibe, wonderful music which wasn’t found in HW movies. I would anyway take that bw over hw. Especially when it comes to music, hw can’t compete with that and also when it comes to comedy. BW movies have much better comedy and music. Not the recent trash comedy movies and music in bw but the BW till 7-10 years ago.

I kinda disagree with emotional connect thing. Bollywood mainly focuses on stupid cheesy romance which I don't find emotional at all. Go search "Sad Bollywood scenes" on YouTube and you will get all these corny melodramatic breakup scenes or hero or heroine dying of cancer😒 Whereas HW manages to make me shed tears even for animated characters.

I too usually don't watch movies but yesterday I watched Vikram Vedha. It's quite entertaining.

I've seen so many Telugu movies in this genre .Fantasy is best handled by tollywood.

Jagadekhaveerudu athi loka sundari - A goddess drops her ring on earth . So, she decides to search her ring on earth. Sridevi looked drop dead gorgeous in this movie. Dil dhak dhak karney laga song is a remake of this movie's abba ni thiyyani debba song.

Deviputrudu : It's about mystic nature of Dwarka. I don't even remember the movie but I used to watch this movie with my mouth open.

Anji: This movie is way head of its times. It's about immortality . I wonder if this movie would have done wonders like Bahubali, if it were to release now.

Teen couples is okay not 10 year olds. In hw movies and tv shows they normalize it & parents not having any problems. Imagine when something like happens here what would Indian parents do to the child.

HW is more creative and diverse. Some concepts are truly amazing while some are mediocre.

BW is more on romance and family. It's fixated with love mostly. Family, kids and situations. More on relationships and values. The music is definitely better and emotions run high.
