What are some ways in which Bollywood is better than Hollywood?

Bollywood is currently better than Hollywood and has been for some time now. This is coming from a diehard Hw fan. All HW does these days is keep making 100s of meaningless sequels and prequels to superhero movies. There have been a few decent films here and there but they're just too less.

I'm sick and tired of HW and have been for some time now. I never thought I would say this but it's true. Hindi cinema is evolving and has been producing some great films since the last the few years in every genre possible. All that's left is upping the technology, vfx, etc.

Overall or as in movies only?

BW is better than Hw? That takes some guts to say. Truly 😳

HW is miles ahead even if we take out superhero flicks from the table. Be it acting, story telling, production or story. Hindi cinema in my opinion, is struggling hard. No authentic story or music which btw is BW's usp. Either the stories are bad copies of international films or frame to frame copy of regional flicks. It is so hard to connect to BW's half baked characters and even blander acting.

And HW does much more than doling out matvel DC movies. But those are the most hyped ones so garners more eyeballs.

Well I'll repeat it as well. 😂😂😂 BW is currently better than Hollywood unless you like watching 100s of meaningless sequels and prequels to Marvel and DC superhero films 🤣

There have been a handful of decent films coming from HW since the last few years so yeah it's pretty crappy.

I used to hate BW until recently when I started watching some films from 2016 onwards on my friends' recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised.

Movies like Hindi Medium, Tumbbad, Raazi, Gully Boy, Udta Punjab, Andhadhun, Stree, etc. have made like BW. I'm actually looking forward to seeing a lot of upcoming films now!

I hope HW goes back to what it was and stop making these BS superhero films all the time.

I would say even American TV shows are far higher in the quality chart compared with the so called 'good content' films BW churns out, let alone HW movies.

BW is just deteriorating. If HW is all about DC, Marvel.. BW just reeks of plagiarized stuff with subpar acting and direction. To each his own though!

Only one thing musical films. Music is part of our movies and when they try musical, they look cringe worthy. Still cry to this day why i paid for la la land in theatre!
