During the filming and post production of Manikarnika Kangana was accused of cutting other actors parts, getting rid of other actors entirely, getting rid of the director (who many people on that set felt loyal to), not paying her crew, etc. Plenty of people on the set had motive and opportunity to leak the video. There was an older video doing the rounds of her tripping and falling on set...probably leaked by the same person on set.

The evidence against Ranbir is : A liar said so and it seems like something he’d do. If that sounds familiar it’s because she’s used the exact same “evidence” against an awful lot of people.

There is no logical reason to think Ranbir is anyway involved in this. He didn’t visit the set and couldn’t have filmed it (can you imagine the pictures and stories she would have told if he’s actually visited her set), why would someone from the set have thought hmmm ‘who can I send this to? I know Ranbir Kapoor’? And finally the media make a living at this, they don’t need to be told the video would be clickbait - they just needed a Manikarnika insider to leak it.

Saying it’s “believable” means you don’t know a 100% that it happened but you think it is possible it happened. And yes I still think it’s quite possible the trifecta of KJo/Ranbir/Alia are behind this. You don’t need to be on set to be able to get a footage. The issue is not stealing the footage or where it was taken from anyway. Issue is making it go viral with the sole purpose of discrediting Kangana and the movie as authentic and realistic. Who had the motivation to do so at the height of Kanagana’s big broohaha against Alia Bhatt? Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt. Who did Karan Johar went on record to say if he wants to make something leak to the media he goes to? Ranbir Kapoor.
