Stories with huge age-gaps appear gross because the makers fail to handle the subject with maturity and refuse to acknowledge the age-gap in the story. It's nauseating to behold 50 year-olds refusing to age and romancing actresses half their age.

No once forced these girls, yes, but at least these 50+ male stars who have so much clout should have some shame and not romance girls who are their granddaughters' age.

What?? Alia-SRk did not have a romantic relationship in DZ and even in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi no one acknowledged that SRK's character is a lot older than Anushka's.

Inshallah is acknowledging the age yes but they are still making Salman 13 years younger by saying that he's 40. 😂😂😂

if the movie is based on age gap then be it amitab-tabu in cheeni kum or salman-alia in InshaAllah..that works well

however movies like houseful with akki-kriti..etc surely does not sound good

Wrt Akshay-Manushi pairing, according to news she was offered the lead role opposite Ahan Shetty in his debut but rejected the role because she wanted to debut opposite an established A-lister. She got an opportunity to debut opposite an age appropiate hero yet for her own reasons chose to debut opposite Akki.

Interestingly, the leggy lass was offered the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit RX100opposite Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan, which is the latter’s launch pad. “However, Manushi felt that venturing into Bollywood with another newcomer would be too much of a pressure. She felt making her debut opposite an established star would be a better bet,” adds our source.
