Anurag did a mistake...a very stupid one and I have been screaming from the rooftop that he needs to apologise to Pre. But is whitewashing the right word to use? When you repeatedly use that word it looks like you are accusing the makers of covering up a grave crime like murder for him. I read your post on how both S1 bajaj and s2 Anurag have been whitewashed. There can be no comparisons between the two characters. Whatever Anurag did was an act of selflessness for his family and Prerna’s family. He is a pure soul . How can such a character be whitewashed even if the cvs want to? Him not apologising is more a lack of consistency in the writing. I wouldn’t call it whitewashing of Anurag Basu
