Is this guy bipolar?

Firstly, I have to laugh that they put in such contrived lines of Kunal “clarifying” that he’s “not a villain”.

Lol being a self centered, pompous asshole is a personality trait, who called him a villain? 🙄. How easy it is to jump to the other end of the spectrum to play victim. “Boo hoo, why are ppl pointing out my sexist ways? That doesn’t make me a villain, so it’s all good 🙄”

Either this guy is bipolar or he’s so self absorbed that he doesn’t see or care how he behaves. He pretends in front of the family that he went after Mishti to check on her cuz she looked distraught but when he gets to her, he unloads on her, calls her a liar and blames her for all her father’s issues. When Mishti points out how he hid his own past engagement, he pivots to saying that wasn’t as big a deal cuz his ex fiancé didn’t try to kill Mishti. Wow 😕

Then two minutes later, when Kuhu shows up to call them inside for the engagement, he once again pivots, tells Mishti he FORGIVES her and expects her to calmly come back in for the engagement. I don’t even know where to begin. The sheer NERVE of this asshole is really off the charts. He demeans Mishti CONSTANTLY, calls her a liar, dismisses everything from her views, her thoughts, to her emotions and then claims that HE is the real injured party here? ROFL

Aww poor Kunal. You’re not a villain. There...I hope that soothes your typical entitled MCP ego a little bit.

And Mishti, he didn’t deserve even the little regard you were giving him. Anyways, this shall continue since this show is all about making excuses for misbehaving and entitled people. Lol so called Kunal “rehabilitation” coming soon I bet 😴.

i dont know why everyone keep saying that he is not compatible with mishti but the truth is he is right now not fit or perfect for any girl

he will only come on right path after meenu truth and his father truth

everyone keep saying that only kuhu is made for him but the fact would be kuhu will just marry for artificial charm but will see his real face after marriage like he will ask her to straighten her hair and many things and upar se meenu who will never let live anyone with peace on the name of family

anywayway actually kuhu and kuna are made for each other both self victimize themselves without any reason or even after their mistake

The rest of the forum is busy justifying Kunal’s abusive behavior 👏. Apparently him and Mishti are both doing the engagement for their family, so it’s perfectly “justified” for him to constantly verbally abuse her and lash out at her. 🙄

Kunal shows some affection for his family from time to time so it’s perfectly fine that he treats women like shit otherwise. Nice 👍🏻. Amazing writing, truly.

i dont know why everyone is sympathising with kunal

mishti today said no to kunal the real him not due to abir love or meenu manipulation

he is like that only it is not like meenu manipulated him if it was really naman who would have done this then

this is the real character of kunal to think of wife as responsibility or the one go by his all demand and accept the one who is just to make her happy

thats why they not let kuhu watch the real kunal but anyway if she has watched also then she would would have fantisised that kunal love her thats why he is behaving with mishti like this

i really hated the way kuhu blamed msishti on chasma incident day on kunal firing her otherwise i somewhat used to justify her

i am sure kunal is going to say yes for kuhu only for mishbir or abir and after marriage kuhu will use this to blame mishti for getting her married

both are made for each other one just blame other to not accept her mistake and other victimise or missunderstand or dont even think his mistake as mistake (woh choti si baat hai main villan nahin hoon)himself to not accept his

@bold: I agree. Mishti said no to the real Kunal on an objective basis. Not because of feelings for Abir. The real Kunal has treated her like trash, utterly dismissed everything she says or does. Once again, he used his stupid line about how he is the owner of a big company with important things to do rather than make time for her.

Simply speaking, I don’t get why he wants to marry a girl he constantly keeps calling a liar and manipulator. If you think so lowly of her, why are you marrying her? Oh he thinks he’s doing her a FAVOR I guess 🙄. That’s the attitude that grates on me. And it’s beyond me why so many people here justify it 🤷‍♀️

Would people defend Kunal so much if he looked like Naman? Like Kuhu, it seems many here are willing to look past Kunal’s abusive behavior because of his looks 🤷‍♀️

And Abir, Yeah he is also under some misconception that his brother is a little lamb. So much for all the tall lectures on how society treats a woman. Why does he never push back on how Kunal speaks to Mishti? This is beyond just a MU. Kunal’s way of speaking to Mishti and Kuhu, both is unacceptable, period. But no one points that out.

Honestly i had to rewind a bit to see if I missed something. The transition from Kunal in the absence of kuhu to in front of kuhu was so startling. The manupilation and split personality seems to be a shared trait between mother and son.

I kind of feel bad for kuhu, because I feel her behaviour towards mishti comes from a place of pre existing childhood insecurity, but kunal's maliciousness comes from a place of entitlement and can't be excused.

Its like he's been building up ammunition against mishti the whole time just to unload when an opportunity presents but is too much of a coward to admit that he too can make a mistake.

I really liked kunal initially esp during his and kuhu office scenes and i don't know if this is how his character is meant to shape up or its being messed with to promote the main lead. Whatever it is , I really do hope they show him realizing his mistake and behaviour bot because I want him to end up with mishti, but because its the only way to salvage his character at this point

THIS. Exactly. Even I did a double take seeing how swiftly he switched from lashing out at her to suddenly acting all calm and reasonable once Kuhu showed up. This guy has issues. Majorly. Sadly, along with the characters in the show, some of the audience is also making excuses for his behavior now 🤷‍♀️.

And you nailed it. Coward is so the word for him. He talks like he stores up grudges against Mishti just looking for a chance to unleash. And dare anyone point out his mistakes or hypocrisy. Then he only doubles down more on his obnoxious judgements and considers himself above making any mistakes. Only Mishti is wrong and manipulative in his eyes while he is maasoom Nanko 🙄🙄

Even I don't get why people on this forum justify his behaviour by bringing in how he's doing it for his family etc. Him agreeing to marry for the sake of his familly has no correlation with his behaviour with mishti.

Plus I take issue to the fact that kunal feels he can question mishti, have a go at her for apparently not being honest, yet he himself isn't honest with mishti, and mishti has to think twice before asking or saying anything to him about hiding something from her or expressing to him that she doesn't like something he has done, because if she does the same things as him such as questioning him about things he's done or hidden, he'd blast her for hurting his ego. WTH! So he can do whatever he wants to mishti yet mishti can't do the same to him without him taunting her? This self-entitlement he has got from his mother.
