Plus I take issue to the fact that kunal feels he can question mishti, have a go at her for apparently not being honest, yet he himself isn't honest with mishti, and mishti has to think twice before asking or saying anything to him about hiding something from her or expressing to him that she doesn't like something he has done, because if she does the same things as him such as questioning him about things he's done or hidden, he'd blast her for hurting his ego. WTH! So he can do whatever he wants to mishti yet mishti can't do the same to him without him taunting her? This self-entitlement he has got from his mother.

+100. This is exactly what I find so grating too. How on earth is his self entitlement being justified? Nothing gives him the right to talk to Mishti like that even if he has some misconceptions about her. Learn some manners, Mr. Kunal. Being CEO is worth nothing if you don’t know how to talk decently.

The absolute lack of empathy in this guy is staggering. He even turns on his supposedly beloved brother Abir in a second if Abir challenges his viewpoint. This was obvious in the chashma scene. So I don’t get why ppl justify him🤷‍♀️.

I will truly be very shocked if he takes Mishti Breaking off the Rishta well and tries to self reflect. He seems to be the kind to take it as a slight to his ego for sure😏.

Kunal is such a hypocrite. He shows this side of him only when he is alone with Mishti (and it's good that he did, so that Mishti can reject him for who he is) but makes himself come across as a likeable, understanding person in front of others esp the Maheshwaris. It's crazy how he thinks it was no big deal to be using his brother for the courtship and hiding this fact, or that he thinks of this marriage as a project that needs to be done with. And of course, how can one forget how he changed his tune and agreed to go for the engagement when Kuhu came; without, of course, forgetting to show his large-heartedness by forgiving Mishti...

Nanko is definitely a meenu ka munna - manipulative at his best. The first red flag for me was when he rushed home to meenu leaving Mishti in the hospital during LASIK surgery fiasco. He shamelessly admitted that he shouldn’t have left Mishti at the hospital, not because out of concern for her safety but due to the possibility of Mishti backing out at the last moment ..this shows that he is aware of his manipulative traits.

i dont know why people always blame meenakshi for kunal mistake

if they get no other reason they blame her upbringing has done this or cvs are destroying kunal to glorify lead but cvs are consistent and the the truth is kunal is a grey character even ritvik has confirmed it

even ketki her brother and abir has got same upbringing but they not turn like him

meenakshi just created a situation but the way kunal reacted was his own will and not only that its not like kunal always blindly follow meenu like when he think his mother is wrong he just says it like when meenu tried to plant some doubt regarding maheshwari when mishti not being maheshwari he clearly denied it

it was his idea to go for lasik noone even mind this spectacle point even meenakshi on the other hand he told kuhu he not notice look or hair

its the fact that he consider wife as different from family

i am sure in future he will behave with mishti with respect and even willconsider her his family as he would be his bhai love but it will take alot time to give kuhu that trust or place or in the end only they will be given ending like other typical serial jodi otherwise in whole story there will be no trust to create drama or u can say his character is shaped like that he will behave with his wife like how other serial leads behave and meenu will be all time villan in their story he will believe kuhu only if it is prooved and for sometime show off that he trust her but next moment something wrong will happen he will blame her again

That was just the cherry on the icing 🤦‍♀️. He really is deluded enough to think he is the one who makes “adjustments” for Mishti and him “forgiving” her is all part of how “large hearted” he is. Wow 🙄

I was thankful atleast Mishti had a WTH reaction to that. Ki HE forgives HER?!

Sadly he doesn’t consider it manipulative when he does it 🙄. He feels everything he does is fully justified. He is utterly content with his own mindset and viewpoint, will never see anything wrong with them. In some ways, he is even more ruthless and cold blooded than Meenu. He just covers it up with a puppy face and playing victim about a failed Rishta.

He is also enabled by his family. Not a single person in his family objectively calls out his misbehavior. They only talk in general terms about how he is wrong for Mishti. Nothing about how he is wrong to talk and behave like this with ANYONE. Abir is blind to Kunal’s misbehavior just like he has become blind to Meenu’s tactics recently. He wants to make excuses for both of them.

He is as entitled and hypocritical as his mom. The funny part is that when he and his mom get into a fight and he gets angry with her, she will regret making him as ziddi and entitled as her 😆

P.S. Am afraid the writers will flip this and later reveal that Kunal somehow found out about his bhai's feelings at the last moment and pulled this stunt to break the rishta 🤪

Lol Ofcourse they will flip him. I don’t doubt it for one second. All the “I’m not a villain” lines are foreshadowing exactly where this is going. I suspect it will be more like a change of heart. He will randomly become an AM shipper and all will be “forgiven” 🙄😒. Lol

The writers are least interested in having any accountability for his behavior. Abir is a clueless sap who thinks his Nanko is a lamb 🐑😂.

I don't mind a 'change of heart' as much as I mind a sacrifice drama where it is shown that he purposely fought with her because he found out about his bhai's feelings. That will be extremely contrived 😆

Am hoping they show a proper realization track where he understands that his entitled thinking is flawed and genuinely apologizes to Mishti. And has a nasty fall out with his mom and questions her about how selfish she is and how he feels disgusted that he has inherited some of her traits. But then this is Indian TV so am not holding my breath 😆

Somehow I doubt it will take the route of “it was all an act to sacrifice”. Everything he has done to this point was all his real personality and how he reacts if his viewpoint is challenged.

Going forward he may sacrifice and do some drama for getting AM together, but I won’t hold my breath for any credible realization anytime soon. Mainly because no one in his family even acknowledges his misbehavior. This so called “golden prince” will end up marrying Kuhu like this only and continue his MCP-giri 🤷‍♀️😂

And him confronting Meenu is even more of a longshot than ABIR actually calling out Meenu. 😂. When even Abir is still busy making excuses for Meenu ki mamta, toh Kunal se kya expect karna 🤦‍♀️😂
