Why do people fall for wrong persons

Todays track reminded me of my long standing question. Why do people fall for wrong persons and spend a lifetime crying?

The same person, when a right person comes along in the life, treat them very poorly and may even end up loosing them. Why does this keep happening over and over again in life?

I remembered this when I was seeing babithas interaction with hanuman Singh. After all he is human too. He is going to feel really bad.

I so agree. I can see where Babita is coming from and her insecurities and her not trying to give Hanuman mixed signals, but I wish she could separate her equation with him and Minie's equation with him... He has very clearly stated that he has fatherly feelings for Minie (during the depression track). He first fell in love with Minie and then eventually with Babita. What he does for Minie is purely for Minie with no other intention. And I so wish Babita understands that.

I feel Babita is now getting overboard with self-respect. No one is challenging her self respect here.

Very well said. Exactly my feelings.

He has developed fatherly emotions for Minnie, he started loving her before his feelings even started for Babes. And Babes knew this very well too. That's why it's disappointing to see that she's confusing the two and is hurting Minnie's Father figure HS.

Hoping she understands this clearly and never doubt HS's intentions and Affection as far as Minnie is concerned.

I think eventually she will... And I think the writers are justified in showing us this phase too. It'll be painful but it is necessary. Necessary for Babita to understand and differentiate between emotions and feelings. She is still pretty naive and is still learning so it's okay. As long as these painful emotions are dealt with quicker... can't see Hanuman in pain... especially when it comes to Minie. For me, the relationship Hanuman and Minie share is sacred!

Babita has always gone overboard with self respect factor. She refused to take alimony and child support which was her legal right just because of that self respect. It's ok if she did not want alimony. I can understand that. But not taking child support has cost Minni her career for now. I wonder if Babita will ever know how Minni had to sacrifice her admission because of lack of money. That time HS had given a lecture about self respect. I guess Babita has forgotten that. That is y she cannot differentiate between her own self respect and the fatherly love of HS towards Minni. This time I am with Mini. She is being more matured than Babita in this instant.

Yesterday when Mini said if she had camera she could have taken pics. So my question is why did Babita not get her a camera? Now when HS gave the camera, she is saying she has money to buy it. If she had bought it, then it would not have been necessary for HS to buy it. Babita is really confused soul right now. If she has money and does not want "ahsaan " from HS, shouldn't she find another place to live? She can stay as tenant at Naembi's house too. She is taking HS "ahsaan" when it suits her. So much inconsistencies in her thoughts and behavior. Mini is right.

I really felt bad for Hanuman today..😒whatever Babita's reasons were..she was really mean and rude to him, it's strange that she showed such maturity in that episode where she returns Hanuman's money. But today she was mean.. Hanuman Singh doesn't have any family and she knows it well that he is attached to Minnie and looks at her like his own daughter.. Hanuman was so happy with Minnie's reaction on seeing camera.. that scene between them was such heartwarming n beautiful..while Babita spoiled it in next scene..and her interaction with Hanuman was really heart breaking .. hope Minnie makes her realise how wrong she is

But Baibta's confusion and not really grasping the concept of self-respect is somewhat justified too.

Here is a woman who had always sacrificed herself and compromised on her self-respect for 17 long years. 17 years later, she finds herself alone, with her daughter and realizes that she now needs to support her young adult daughter. The daughter who teaches her what self-respect is. So this woman learns about self-respect from her own teenage daughter (whose concept of self-respect is not clearly defined too since she is technically still learning about life).

Babita has learnt self-respect but as of now, she needs to learn a lot more than self-respect. There are emotions and feelings and rights that Babita still needs to learn. Letting go of her alimony and child support was a right she let go of only because of this so-called self-respect (in Minie's words today). That was her right and had she taken it her self-respect would not have been harmed! But she learnt it the hard way.

Likewise, today, she wrongly mixed self-respect with emotions. And she's also mixing two entirely different emotions. But she'll learn this too. Parts of it through Minie and maybe parts of it through other means (I don't know how). But she needs to learn this too.

A teenage daughter can only teach her this much. Babita needs to learn things on her own too. Make her own mistakes and learn from them. And this is one mistake where she'll learn about feelings and emotions.

I am ashamed that I was empathizing with this ungrateful woman when most of the forum members were/are totally against her decision to return the gift.

It's somewhat understandable on her part to return the gift but the rudeness with which she talked to him today hit a nerve. I don't know what nonsense she would've blabbered in her anger that I can't wait for the next episode.

It's like she didn't behave this rudely even while rejecting him. This gift issue is nothing and she's overreacting for no reason. All the infinite good that HS did and is still doing for her and Minnie is forgotten just because of one grave blunder of seeing her in a romantic light. Heck, he didn't even put forth a proper proposal and this is the result. Imagine what more disgrace would the poor man have to endure had he proposed her outright.

Minnie seemed really disappointed with her behaviour today as well as in the precap. Let her get into the bad books of Minnie for a while for demeaning Hanuman's love and his gift. Her worst fear was to fall low in Minnie's eyes and I feel this incident would get this worst fear come true. Now, that would be a trigger to Babita's current irrational mind.
