Spoiler - Decoding Mishti Kunalw

It was refreshing to see Mishti taking a stand for herself by not opting for LASIK but I was disappointed to see her plead ,beg Kunal to come for the enagagement . Wondering what message is Mishti trying to give Kunal . I am trying to decode Mishti’s version of courtship . The main reason of courtship was to know the guy before marrying him but here we see Mishti thinking the proposal not going through will effect the girl’s reputation. The same thing happened during job fiasco where Mishti apologized for something she should not be . This girl is confused .

She knows how Kunal feels about her ...he thinks her as manipulator who uses his family to have her way and she knows he wants to control her life .Isnt that a red flag to stop the engagement ? Why go for courtship if NO was never an option Badi Maa is the worst enemy of Mishti . The lady very smartly a manipulates Mishti .

Please don’t tell me Kunal being in a relationship before will be the reason to call off the wedding . Let’s not forget that Mishti never spoke about her past until Kunal brought that topic up .

Coming to Kunal , the guy needs help big time . He is treating this alliance as some exam which he wants to pass at any cost . The guy doesn’t have the maturity to realize marriage is a lifelong commitment .Meenakshi is right he is not ready for marriage yet . I would advise Kuhu to stay away from this guy for time being . He might get into rebound relationship with her

I am confused with what Nanu is trying to do . There is no point in forcing Abir to confess his feelings until Kunal Mishti calls off the wedding . Abir please stay away from the mess until Mishti and Kunal realize they are not meant to be .

Wow. It's as if you have written what was going on in my mind. Totally agree with all the points.

Am glad that this show makers portray the real problems in the society which goes unspoken often. These kind of arrogant men do exist and family and society puts undue pressure on the girl when it come to marriage.

100 % agree with you on the last point that Abir should stay away from this mess till Kunal and Mishti call this wedding off.

actually badi ma resembles very much with indian parents

they are actually like her

they love their child no doubt but will pretend that they give freedom to their children but the truth is they just dont

its like the person who keep bird and let them in open air but cut their wing and tell see i have given them open environment but the bird is not flying

i am happy that mishti is going to get abir who will atleast never discourage her he will agree or disagree but never will ask her to follow him

She is genuinely trying for this one because usko ache points dikhe hai ladke me jo ki vaise usne kaam kiye ni.

This is one of those times muje Abir ki involvement nahi chahiye. because wo fir agree karvayega inko

So true . The issues which they haven’t shown are very realistic. Kunal is typical MCP but what surprises me is Mishti’s reaction to Kunal’s actions

once bitten , twice shy . I am not sure what more can Mishti say to convince Kunal . He is stuck at one thing ... he agreed to courtship for her so its the time she do something for him .

I see what you are saying . The thing she appreciates about Kunal are so superficial. Sending flowers , writing poetry , bringing food are not something extraordinary high she cannot find in other guys . I am actually thinking the above should not be the reason for her to like Abir . If she falls for Abir it should be because of his unconditional support she finds in hm

Nanu has confused Abir too . I hope he doesn’t come on horse with a ring to see Kunal and Mishti getting engaged . Let them first breakup before he can propose .

Looking at hint in today’s epi about Kuhu’s Horoscope, I feel Abir Mishti and Kunal Kuhu might get engaged .

This type of thing extends to even marital problems. How many friends do we have whose parents tell them to have a child and all problems will be solved or if they are unmarried then tell them to just get married even while they themselves see red flags.

I am very happy that the pressure that the girl goes through is being shown very realistically.

The problem isn't with Misthi the problem is with our society who puts an undue pressure on the girl to say yes. Parents are all on for courtship and would even say that no is an option but when a girl actually exercises her right to say no she is ridiculed more then the boy even by her closest relatives. Take the example of Badi Maa who felt the need to apologize for Misthi's stance even though she knew that Misthi was right and the chachi claiming that they will get the operation done. Not to forget that the only reason Misthi said yes was due to the embarrassment badi Maa faced when those commuinty aunties called her names and misinterpreted her courtship also Badi Maa's Paranoia due to Misthi's father which was adversely affecting Badi MAA's help and she pleaded with Misthi to not ask for the courtship. Added to this uptill now she didn't see any warning signs in kunal so she went ahead and said yes. It's only now that we are seeing her inner turmoil and her confusion due to Kunal's actions and yes her attraction for Kunal was based on superficial factors such as flowers, poetry but also on other major factors such as him saving her life although all these things were done by Abhir and I don't know why Kunal hasn't come clean to her about it so reasons for this relationship to end can also be this he hasn't been honest with her about this and his past relationship so these are deal breakers also Misthi did try to tell Kunal about her part until Ben Baa interfered. Misthi is a strong girl yes but all us strong girls find it hard to stand up to our parents and especially in Misthi's case people who took her in when her own parents abandoned her. She feels indebted to them

I thank Kunal for agreeing courtship with Mishti. Both of them know that they are not made for eachother. Now "No" is an option.
