KHUSHI DOESNOT LOVE ARNAV

Reasons: Lemme state with what I have understood so far -

1. Prologue - During the moment of unison as couple, Khushi is emotionally detached - Infact she convinced herself that her husband's declaration of love is just habitual - Khushi believes her mind which says the intimacy is out of intoxication and shuts her eyes along with her heart!

2. Chaper 1 - Khushi puts up a mask of 'Wife' - She acts to keep up the mask - Her heart pines for her family - She feels/knew that she never had a say - She confirms her husband who doesn't really love her and wouldn't understand her - Her mind wins thinking this was all a deal!

3. Chapter 2 - We saw how Arnav slowly and steadily fell in love with Khushi - Arnav's bad reputation did not help him when he proposed which shows Khushi neither know anything about Arnav's love nor does she take any step to find out from her husband - She admits Arnav loves her in his own away (not her way) - His charm made her give into the physical need he arouse within her - They can never love with each other as their notion of love is different!

Conclusion: According to Khushi, she was selected for a role for WIFE of Arnav - She thinks Arnav's definition of love is different from her - She is nothing but a passing affair to him - They are never meant to be given to their difference in principles and life - His love (interest in her) will fade away soon! - Nothing even the marriage or his interest not enough for her keep up with facade!!!!

HENCE, SHE DOESN'T LOVE ARNAV moresay NOT YET.

Maybe, they mollycoddled or convinced her that Arnav was somehow involved with Shashi's death or was a ladder to reaching the man. Maybe, Shyam?

But then, Manohar could have helped her out too. He is a very resourceful man, right?

Khushi has her own responsibilities. Someone must have used Anjali or her mother as a bait and forced Khushi to marry Arnav. I don't think Khushi holds Arnav responsible for Shashi's death. It would have reflected in her musings. She just seems very gloomy, as if she is waiting for the good time to pass, even before it begins for her.

Okay, I don't think I am making sense at this point. I will zip it up for now 😆

Yes, I think this is plausible. She may not have her heart set on Akaash, but she would have preferred someone like him over Arnav

Very possible. I read Raji's comment and boy was it insightful! But I need to noodle over it for a while before offering my thoughts

4. Akash's character being under the wrap, its plausible that he aint so clean as Manohar. Anyway, Arnav and Khushi are anti theatrical to each other. So Akash can be like other of them. If good, he holds Khushi's heart. If bad, he broke Anjali's heart?

Based on what N said so far, Akaash seems to be a good character.

5. I think, maybe, just maybe Khushi has a broken heart too. N said that Khushi has been wary of the opposite sex and expected Arnav to run away. Agreed, she was bound by responsibilities, but somewhere she might have liked someone ?? And maybe, that someone didnt reciprocate her feelings ?? 😲

So I was right, we did come up with good points in the last few hours. 😛

To add to what i already responded, it is possible that Anjali also resents Arnav and does not know the real reasons why Khushi married him. She must have felt that Khushi has compromised on her principles for her family's sake. Garima could have given her blessing for the match but Anjali may not have.

To ensure that Khushi isnt ridiculed, she may have attended the wedding rituals half heartedly but have drawn a line at attending the party that Arnav threw.

I have a feeling that Arnav will win Anjali's heart and she will respect her Jiju once she too learns the reality about Arnav.

We have to know about Arnav-Garima equation too. Maybe his behaviour towards Garima will also help Anjali in understanding Arnav.

We are making thoeries too early in the story but hey this only shows how much we love this story and would like N to post the updates sooner

You are right! Anjali, SHyam, Akaash have not even made an entry, yet we are speculating about them like there's no tomorrow. "Withered" has taken us by storm. N - Iss pyar ko kya naam de? ❤️

As far as I understand the story so far, Khushi never had any association with boys until she met Arnav. For now I would like to think she doesn't have a broken heart. She is out to unearth something for sure. Most probably the culprit behind Shashi's suspicious death.

@P, I liked all your theories. Mostly your theory on Aman trying to prepare Khushi and her reactions if and when Arnav becomes a prominent figure in politics.

Your theory on Kapoor and associates made me think something else. Who are the other partners in Kapoor and associates? Is it Arnav's biological father or mother?

@EC, I liked how you deciphered the quote and related it to Arnav and Khushi's current and future life.

I don't think Khushi is head-over-heels-in-love with Arnav, but that doesn't mean she hasn't felt the stirrings at all. She is not unaffected by his charms and is an equal participant in the love making. She may not have realized it yet, but it does look like she's on the road to falling in love with Arnav. If not anything, her jealousy is a telltale sign of feeling "something" for him. But she is holding back. That's for sure. And I strongly feel it's not just because of his image. She is convinced that this relation has an expiry date. And I see two reasons for her feeling so -

1) Arnav's playboy image, obviously. She thinks Arnav is not capable of monogamy. She doesn't doubt his love for her at the moment, but feels that sooner or later it will die off.

2) This one is a long shot, but like I said in my previous comments, I feel she is just a pawn in the larger scheme of things. She has been meticulously placed in Arnav's life for their own selfish benefits. Khushi feels sorry that Arnav thinks he loves her, probably because she knows that once the cards are open, she will be a major reason for his broken heart.

I also have a theory that it's not Manohar who has placed her in Arnav's path. He may be the reason for Arnav bumping into her, but no where it was mentioned that Manohar convinced/forced her to marry. It was all speculations.

I have a feeling it could be Shyam or Payal's Mom
