I will admit, the thought crossed my mind. But I dropped the idea for two reasons-

1. If Khushi liked Akash, there is no way she would have agreed to marry Arnav, given Arnav's reputation as well.

2. Unless Manohar is unaware of Khushi;s feelings, why would he compel her to marry Arnav? Ideally, wouldn't Manohar pick Akash to be Khushi, his demised friend's husband??

Khushi likes the image that Akash has projected. She may not know him or he may not be her good friend. She may think that Akash was a principled person like herself while Arnav was known for his wild ways.

Since Khushi is not much interested in personal happiness but only that of her family and thats why it might not have crossed her mind that she should like someone enough to marry him. In case she was asked her opinion of the type of person she would like as her life partner, she may have chosen 'someone like Akash'.

Manohar may not have had any idea about Khushi's likings. When he knew about Arnav's wish he may have broached the subject to Khushi and she may have had thought about it and agreed . She may have thought the key to the mystery of her dad's death lay in the people surrounding Arnav and not Arnav per se. That would have been the best way for her to find our the truth and maybe for Arnav's sake too. Also she may have known the discord between Arnav and Manohar and maybe her step would ease this out a bit too.

Let is see what N madam makes out of this trend of thought. She may strongly oppose this line of thought and next time we can eliminate atleast one thought as impossible.😉

Khushi did not agree to marry for a while. There is no change between Khushi and Manohar's equation and I strongly think she did not marry him for money. Manohar was her dad's friend and is her god father. She could have asked him for a loan if there was a dire need.

So what changed between her not wanting to marry him and agreeing to marry him? I suspect that is when Arnav joined PSP. It is like an opportunity fell in her lap. She is very sure that her marriage won't last long. So, she thinks she is not causing any harm to Arnav.

Anjali attended wedding rituals only when necessary. She did not even bother to attend Khushi's birthday bash. Apart from despising richness, I think Anjali resents someone from that family.

As N told me on the blog, we are way off with time lines. This is only a second chapter. I need to know a lot more before I come anywhere close to speculating correctly.

To add to what i already responded, it is possible that Anjali also resents Arnav and does not know the real reasons why Khushi married him. She must have felt that Khushi has compromised on her principles for her family's sake. Garima could have given her blessing for the match but Anjali may not have.

To ensure that Khushi isnt ridiculed, she may have attended the wedding rituals half heartedly but have drawn a line at attending the party that Arnav threw.

I have a feeling that Arnav will win Anjali's heart and she will respect her Jiju once she too learns the reality about Arnav.

We have to know about Arnav-Garima equation too. Maybe his behaviour towards Garima will also help Anjali in understanding Arnav.

We are making thoeries too early in the story but hey this only shows how much we love this story and would like N to post the updates sooner

I like your theory on Anjali. She could have been made aware of her physical failings by Arnav's people or friends too,maybe Shyam or Aman.

Till we get to know more, speculation is the name of the game and probably this helps N in bringing more and more twists in the tale and leaves us pulling our hairs or hanging from the cliff by the edge of our teeth

Ok, your theory looks somewhat convincing. Anjali has a clubfoot. Maybe, someone would have lured her with a gold heart and kind words and she ended up with a broken heart.

See, we dont know anything about Akash's character yet. And N said that is an entire clan of new people here. If that is the case, Anjali might be nursing a broken heart to come and attend her sister's lavish bday party.

Also, Khushi might clearly resent Arnav's party, Shyam Biswas, and maybe, someone who works with Arnav and Shyam.

What if there is an entirely new character whose harmed Anjali and Khushi is seeking revenge??

Yes EC, there could be a completely new set of characters as N has told or old characters with divergent characteristics.

Ok, so Akash was probably just an imaginary and ideal man for Khushi, if she thought about it or had been given a choice?? But Manohar has no clue about it. Agreed.

Harbouring a dream or a wish, is very different from actually loving someone and dealing with unrequited feelings.

You have a point. Not even once did I think about Anjali-Arnav equation.

I also feel Garima would be money minded and would have been ecstatic by the alliance 🤣
