Don’t know if it is that. I mean, Sonam fronts IWC and Kalyan jewellers, it comes down to who aligns well with the brand. This was a simple Perfume launch , they will go to various desi bloggers for promotions as well.

Sonam was picked for Chopard parfums not jewels n watches. Deepika endorses Tanishq and Chopard's competitor Tissot she cannot take up Chopard so those are just rumors that she was in the running (article says its for jewels) coming to kalyan maybe they quietly dropped Sonam too like Loreal did. She did well by actually keeping the disassociation low-key! Good job by her team. Katrina had to face flak and had to come up with explanations when she exited.
