I do. I have seen people enjoy the movie even now. Everything becomes overrated after some years anyway. It's been ten years.

Last I read Avatar 2 is going to bring some revolutions again btw. Much of the motion picture is going to be shot underwater and some other shit that's why it's taking him so long to make it plus the other sequels.

As it will approach towards the release, half of the hype it will get from being the sequel to the highest grossing movie of all time plus Cameron is a perfectionist, he's roaming around the world in his submarine extracting details.

People should not go by social media and judge a film's potential. James Cameron is no less than Speilberg he barely goes wrong and gives big blockbusters..I am sure he must have worked really hard on the scripts on Avatar's sequels...so to just say that the film doesn't have a fan base online and that it shall not do well is baseless..let it come out and then judge.

Ok! Does anyone even remember the name of the main character? A movie that made gazillions at BO and hardly anyone talks about it anymore. Even the announcement of the sequels barely got any attention. Also there was nothing pathbreaking about the first movie barring the technology and effects, the story was pretty basic and characters hardly had any impact on viewers to remember them.

But yeah it all depends on how they market it and how much hype they create around it. Avengers not breaking its record isn't surprising to me because even though likes of Star Wars and MCU has a huge fan base it is still limited and people who haven't watched the previous movies wouldn't care to spend their money on it despite all the hype. Same thing happened with Harry Potter movies, they are hyper popular but people outside of the fandom don't care for them.

CONTENT is always the KING ! It doesn't really matter if people remember the names of characters or the story. if the director has invested enough in putting up a GREAT STORY. I'm absolutely sure, it would repeat the success of the original. But everything boils down to the content.

Avatar, Star Wars and MCU are all owned by Disney so end mein paise ek hi ghar mein jaane hain. Unfortunately Murdoch and fam are now the biggest individual shareholders in Disney replacing Steve Job's fam as the biggest individual shareholders.

Endgame might just limp past Avatar with China and Domestic collections. Though the only people who will now watch are newcomers and die-hard fans, so $300 million is too much with competition from other films.

Although if Endgame crosses Avatar just by few millions, the record will not hold for long. James Cameron might just play dirty and re-release Avatar before Avatar 2 release, only to put his film on top.

No one including the MCU fans expected Endgame to topple Avatar as the highest grossing film. It was only after the movie crossed Titanic worldwide in just 11 days, fans hope got raised that it might dethrone Avatar.

No sequel film has ever became the ATHG in Hollywood worldwide. Endgame might be or might have become the first one. The fact that it came so close itself is a huge achievement. It's tough for MCU to get new fans in short period as you have to watch 21 films before Endgame to fully understand and appreciate it.

Unless you are James Cameron, I must say you're living a very happy life if you pray to God about these things.
