Would nepotism also spread in TV?

Some Bollywood actors are working on TV that are not getting much work in BW now. Saif will work on a TV show with Dipika Kakar. Zayed Khan and Sanjay Kapoor also worked on TV shows. All of them are star kids and their BW career was done and dusted few years. There are many star kids that are entering in BW now but only few star kids will make big in BW, rest will be done and dusted really fast and they would need something to keep their acting career going on. TV is one option for them. I think some might go to Ekta to get some work like Amrita Singh did couple years ago. Ekta is also a Bollywood star kid and she might help some non-talented star kids to keep their acting career going. So will nepotism also spread in TV and make hard for TV actors actresses to get work like the way nepotism is making hard for outsiders to get work?

it will not work here because on TV people remember actors for their characters and not by their names...only on social media u have that deal..

many aunties who used to watch kyunki saas or kahani don't even know who smriti irani or sakshi tanwar by their names..but they would immediately spill up 'tulsi' and 'parvati' if u ask them..

Seriously how old are people on this forum ? What nepotism spread here and there ? As if it's new thing that people didn't hear Abt favoritism in their life...but yeah nepotism will also spread in this forum and Vijay hires only inside members and all outsiders should go and search for another forum/site...poor us!! 😭

Lol, there is already nepotism in TV. Ekta Kapoor and Gul Khan shows generally get the best promotions and timeslots and their shows and actors win awards despite not topping in popularity or ability. Ekta adding non-talented starkids to her camp won't make any difference.

I shall not name any celebs or shows or else fanwars will erupt 😉. But go look at the list of the shows and actors that won awards for the past year for ITV, and go explore the social media platforms to see which shows and actors had the most hype last year and which shows and who were critically acclaimed. There is a huge disparity between awardees and those who had the most hype and/or critical acclaim. It is becoming more transparent day by day you need connections and big PHs to win awards.

In TV, it's more like favoritism than nepotism because TV actors actresses are usually not star kids. Most popular actors actresses are either chamchi or chamcha of Gul or Ekta. Maybe those actors actresses have to go through casting couch like most BW outsiders and they have to do sexual favors to those ladies. I heard Mouni is one of Ekta's sexual partner and there were rumor that Barun and KSG had affair with Gul. Anyway, I am talking about the future. There are many jobless star kids or star relatives like Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Aayush, Esha Deol, Abhishek Bachchan, Tanisha Mukherjee and many more star kids that are not getting much work now and we will have more in the future since we have almost all the celebrities kids or relatives that are entering in BW now but most will fade away from BW and they will need to do something to earn money. TV is one option for them. Zayed Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan worked on TV shows. I saw an article yesterday that Saif will make his debut on TV and I can't believe that he is doing TV show despite coming from Nawab family, doing few hit movies from big banners and marrying one of the big star like Kareena that stayed in the industry for almost 20 years. So I am talking about the future that some non-talented star kids might shift to TV and nepotism will spread in TV. In the past too, many unemployed BW actors actresses moved to TV like Anju Mahendru, Amrita Singh, etc. Even Ronit Roy moved to TV after his career failed in BW. It's hard to move from TV to BW but it's super easy to move from BW to TV and some actors actresses had done it after their BW career failed so badly.

Sadly yes but true. Nepotism is everywhere. It's a curse that exists in the bollywood and also other parts of the work areas. Due to that, some talented people are rejected for no logical reasons.

Don't know about nepotism but favouritism is in abundance there...
