Lot of the things that were shown was very realistic in the episode. The new actors/models are lured into showbiz with false hopes & promise and realize what they actually get is starkly different in reality. Just one stint in front the camera to escalate Sameer’s dream to get into showbiz was not very convincing for me. However, given his gullible personality, Sameer getting starry eyed so easily made at least some sense to me. However, given Naina’s practical &smarter approach to life, I expected Naina not to be so readily sold to the idea of going to Bombay. I guess CVs are trying to show, Naina is also naïve inwardly regardless of how her portrayal is..........
Overall the episode was nice and as always, your summary was even better.
Loved your post😊 epi was realistic. Agree with you, wasn’t sure Naina would be convinced so easily. But she has also been shown to be quite filmy. Somewhere agree with Chachaji, they are not.thinking straight because of their tension about future and are just being starry eyed because of one incident. But the show biz trap is really enticing to naive youngsters.
Pandit being left our is a sad reality for single friends in a group full of married friends. I know when we are young we don’t have the sensitivity but I feel married friends need to be sensitive to their single friends who have given you a lot of their time.
Being young can be a bane or blessing. Depends on the outcome. But with age on your side, one can take some risks, atleast for a while. Samaina quoting Shah Ruth’s example is a case in point. But for every shah rukh, there may be thousands who have failed and failed miserably.
CC and Rakesh are typical middle class adults and I think working middle class is mostly risk averse.
Naina’s career taking a back seat is a sad reality in our country and only girls can change the scenario.
