I think the comparison was made because in both cases the third person in the relationship (Nandini there, Ruhaan here) wanted to leave once they realized that their feelings were reciprocated but the committed person (Kunal there, Mishti here) wanted them to stay back.

Not saying that the characters are comparable, just expressing how the scenarios are not opposite.

The comparison was on the audience reaction on 3rd party trying to leave in both cases.. And i am saying its unfair to compare the audience reaction in both cases because the 3rd partys previous stand in this matter, the consequences /benefits of their exit, loyal partners wish/preference etc need to be taken in to consideration while judging the audience reaction in both cases.

Silent confessions cannot be considered as real confessions coz in this the other person assumes what he / she wants to assume from the other persons body language while the other person might be on a totally different tangent altogether. Hence silent confessions doesn't hold much importance.

The guilt, the decision of moving away from Mishti has been taken by Ruhaan before any verbal confession from either of the sides and hence according to me Ruhaan is right.

If he decides to hide things from Veer after the confession, he is then wrong, otherwise till now he is right.

Coming down to the question of why now and not before can be explained by earlier he had to keep check only on his feelings and hence Veer did not cross his mind but now that he feels that even Mishti has developed feelings for him, cheating with Veer crossed his mind and hence the decision of moving away before any confession takes place.

And my question is what good is it going to do interms of MishVeer or for Veer if he decide to move away at this point.. Whats he trying to prove? Kya chahte hai voh? Does he want mishti to not break up and pretend everything is fine and go for a loveless marriage with veer? That will be a bigger injustice towards Veer. Mishti aur Veer ki married life jaayein bhaad mein, usse toh apna naam bachana hai aur guilt free bhi rahna hai.. Is that so?

"tumhare aankhein jo kuch bhi kah rahe hai voh lafzon mein bayan kar do mishti, kahdo ek baar ki tum bhi mujhse pray karte ho". yeh ruhaan ke dialogue tha jungle episode ke pahle.. Isska matlab yeh hai ki usse pata tha jungle episode ke pahle hi ki mishti bhi usse pyar karte hai.. Mishti se pahle hi ruhaan ne usske man ki baat pad li thi. Aur jungle mein ruhaan ne mishti se yeh bhi kahaan ki agar mishti ko kuch ho jaati toh voh khud mar jaata, aur kiss bhi karne vaale the.. Isse zyada kaise izhar karein!!

Mujhe nahi lagta ruhaan veer ke liye concern feel kar raha hai.. Ussne veer aur usske family usse blame karte hue imagine kar liya aur dar gaya.. Where did he think about Veer and his well being.. He was ready to betray Veer according to his self talk.. Then he had a dream of veer blaming him and ruhaan felt ashamed and he chickened out.. Isnt that what exactly happened..to be honest mujhe veer ke liye concern kahin nahi dikhayi diya.

when Nandini fell in love with kunal before confessing love to him she felt guilty about spoiling mauli's life n left.the same way now ruhaan is feeling guilty to face veer. .so he is leaving

When did Nandini try to leave? It was after their kaand was exposed to the world na.

Ruhaan leaving right now makes it look like he is trying to save his face leaving mishti to deal with the mess alone.. Whats the point of coming back after the path is clear for him. They did the mistake together, so be reasonable enough to share the responsibility of the mistake as well.
