I agree completely with you, my friend. This disappointment is what I didn't see coming. Till yesterday, he didn't really care what happened to Veer. He felt that his love for Mishti is above friendship with Veer. I am perfectly fine with that sentiment. It is not like he suddenly woke up and realized Veer is in the picture. He always knew Veer is in the picture and how Mishti is related to him.

I also agree that he has no business of telling Veer about his love. It is totally up to Mishti to tell Veer that they are incompatible. I am also OK if she didn't want to give Ruhaan as a reason, if she didn't talk it out with Ruhaan yet. But, but, as far as Ruhaan is concerned, he knows why Mishti would withdraw from the commitment, HIMSELF. What I don't get is why should he decide to leave AFTER knowing what Mishti felt for him and confessing to Mishti how he felt for her. He was restless to know her feeling towards him and once she reciprocates, he prioritizes everybody above her. That creates a disturbance in her life, doesn't it? What exactly does he want Mishti to do with this info? Does he expect her to carry on with Veer with the info that he loves her, and vice versa? How is that then right by his friend? If she is breaking up with Veer, then does he just expect her to rot away alone, pining for him for life? I really don't get it.

I don't know what the writers wanted. Didn't they think that this would come off as kaminapan on the part of Ruhaan? Did they just want Ruhaan to save face as a non- betrayer of a friendship? But this really doesn't serve that purpose too. The decent thing would have been for him to stay put as a support in case she needs it. It is totally up to her in how much she would disclose to Veer during the break up. This guy is now coming across as a coward👎🏼 I agree, if he comes back when the lines are all clear, then chappals toh bante hain.

Ruhaan leaving right now makes it look like he is trying to save his face leaving mishti to deal with the mess alone.. Whats the point of coming back after the path is clear for him. They did the mistake together, so be reasonable enough to share the responsibility of the mistake as well.

No. The first time she went away was she realised she had falling for Kunal and Kunal was as well. Nobody knew what was happening with them..Just like Ruhaan and Mishti now...

But in the end Kunal stopped Nandini from leaving...

Oh.. Toh vahaan toh nadini wanted to leave but kunal didnt let her and yahaan toh mishti wanted him to leave but ruhaan was not ready to leave.

Both scenario are totally opposite .. Then how did you make that comparison.

How will it feel, if the kunal who kept on asking her to stay back, all of a sudden gets 2nd thoughts and abandon nandini one fine day after they did the deed, would the audience be praising his behaviour..

Similiar way all this time when mishti wanted him to leave but ruhaan was not all ready to go, but now when she also fell for him and need his support he is running away..

Nandini going away would have benefitted the families, maulis unborn child and mauli herself who wanted kunal back.. But what good it will do if ruhaan back out at this point.. Its not going to benefit anyone.. So whats the point..i really dont understand whats kunal expecting by backing out at this point.. Is he expecting MishVeer to continue the realtion and enter a loveless marriage, or is he expecting mishti to lead a single life after break up because break up is inevitable at this .. I am not getting his intention.. Running away at a point where break up is inevitable only means he is trying to save his face.

Mishti use kahin nhi jane dene wali...she will be like you can't leave me alone now...you have to deal this situation with me.

How much ever i analyze i cant understand the intention behind running away at a point where break up has become so inevitable..i hope he stays back and stand with her while she deals with the mess.. He need not do anything, silent support de dein to bhi kafi hai. If he run away now and come back claiming his love after a leap then mishti i am telling you, yeh ladka barose layak hai hi nahi.

Haain!!Aap show dekhte hai ki nahi!! Ruhaan ne apna pyar ka izhaar kiya hai, jungle mein bhi aur uske pahle bhi ussne indirectly kiya hai... Ab voh veer ke baarein mein sochne se kya fayda..jab sochna chahiye tha tab nahi socha aur ladki ke aage peeche ghoomte raha jab ladki ne khud usse bhagane ke liye sabkuch kar raha tha. Ab isa situation aa gaya hai jahaan ruhaan back out kar bhi liya to bhi veer ke relationship ko bacha nahi sakega.. toh jaane se kya fayda.. Ussne injustice toh dost ke saath pahle hi kar chuka, jinhe iss last minute punarvichar se nahi mita paunga, ab iss vakt ladki se muh mode liya toh usske saath bhi injustice ho jayega.

I think the comparison was made because in both cases the third person in the relationship (Nandini there, Ruhaan here) wanted to leave once they realized that their feelings were reciprocated but the committed person (Kunal there, Mishti here) wanted them to stay back.

Not saying that the characters are comparable, just expressing how the scenarios are not opposite.
