Was Rani ever the Queen of Bollywood?

I am just trying to understand was she ever the Queen of Bollywood or just had some hits here and there? Did she really rule Bollywood ever or no?

Id say from 2002-2005 Rani was at her peak and was the queen.

Saathiya, Chalte Chalte, Yuva, Hum Tum, Veer-Zara, Black, and Bunty Aur Babli - this was her best run. - then with Paheli and KANK she went downhill

Not the queen but very popular for a few years.

She definitely had a good number of hits back then and is still probably the one of the most consistent in delivering hits. That being said she never had a huge fandom so no she isn't a "queen".

She was ruling at a time. Preity was behind her. Kajol wasn’t doing films. Kareena was struggling. Katrina/PC coming up. Aishwarya was trying to do some British films lol

Rani can actually act and she was ruling at one point. Wish she did more films

Apart from Sridevi , Rani is one of those actress whose come back films after being married were hits.

Mardaani , Hichki both of Rani's come back films were well accepted n hit.

She still have in her to deliver box office hit !

Yes, Rani Mukerji Chopra was the Queen of Bollywood and she still is. Queen doesn't means to rule all the time. She's acting queen and has given SO Many Hit movies on her own. Be it, Chalte Chalte, Bunty Aur Bubly, Hum Tum, Veer Zaara, Yuva, Black, KKHH etc was her peak time. She has done so many versatile roles.

Of course she had her own ups and lows of films but she always came back with a Bang!! 😈😈 And regarding consistency and being in Bollywood, she still is working and delivering Hits. Her last movies Hichki was global hit and Mardaani was hit too. Now she's shooting for Mardaani 2. And I think being in the movies and successfully doing films is what matters which she is doing so I'm happy.

As a admirer of her I always want her to do more and more movies. I wish she does that.
