Has the music this year been overall disappointing so far?

What is the stand out track so far this year. We are almost at the halfway point of the year and I can't come up with one.

Gully Boy album is good. Apna Time Aayega is a good workout motivational song. Kab Se Kab Tak is my fave romantic song so far.

No standout party song yet.

I love Train Song from Gully Boy!

I forgot Gully Boy came out this year. It seems so long ago. Gully Boy has the best soundtrack so far this year.

Bollywood's music in the last few years has been more bad than good. Everything is just a remake, and most of the original soundtracks are boring

Bollywood music has been disappointing for the last couple of years...its just getting noticed now. Its the era of remakes and producer/director/actor's over-interfering in the music making process...not to mention, the music industry consists mainly of mediocre talent

Atleast till the early 2000s when we would listen to a song we would know who the singer was and who's composed the song...while from the 50s to 90s it was even possible to identify who the lyricist was.

Now every male singer sounds like Arijit (who again is a good talent but wasted with his constipated style of singing), female singers sound the same, music is generic and has no identity of the composer...and its better not to talk about the lyrics.

There have been a few stand outs like Gully Boy but thats a rap based album...I haven't heard a good non-rap song atleast this year

Kai saalon se kharab hi chal rahi he. Nothing good except crap remixes.

Koi gaana me accha lyrics music he hi nahi. If u hv an antakhshari nobody will sing new songs. These days songs have raps which are written in -'hindiurdupunjabienglishbhojpurigibberish'

BW music has horrible since ages

I feel like Soty 2 songs are going to linger around till the December wedding season. The girls wala song is already on my nerves but I can see why a ton of people are going to be dancing to it.
