I don't know the name but the author had liked a few tweets about her not getting credited despite it being based on her book..... The plot was similar to an extent, where roop and sardarji marries for a child, but Satya is the antagonist who doesn't like the second marriage of her husband.... That story is about roop n sardarji falling for each other in such situation...

Don't know if it has partition as the backdrop.

Many actresses in the past acted in multiple huge projects at a time. Why wud it be first?

Problem is other actresses earned those mega projects like kat and deepika by giving smaller hits before. Katrina hsd hits like New York apkgk before tiger. Deepika had cocktail before yjhd

Aliya was given best opportunity from the start when she has proven nothing. When u have best scripts directors to back it up, it is all easy. Aliya has crossed limits of nepotism. It is manipulation now.but her star power got exposed with kalank.

She doesn't fit roles like this. She doesn't have the x factor

One thing i do not understand though is, if Alia was really that mediocre, why have her films mostly been hits? In her 7 yr old career, she has just seen 2 flops. Audience loves her and nobody can really deny that fact. And i know ppl will say, 'thats because she gets all tailor made roles' and snatches projects from others. Khud hi socho, agar kriti sanon udta punjab karti, utne log jaate kya usse dekhne? Ya what if Shraddha Kapoor had done Gully Boy? Would ppl have enjoyed her performance? Im talking about the general public and not fans. Because u know what, my parents loved watching Alia in Raazi n recently in Kalank too. And they are not her fans. They are a neutral audience. So, Alia kuch toh sahi kar rahi hai that whoever watches her likes her. IF pe roz naya topic khulta hai Alia pe, proof enough how much ahead she is. Kitna bhi ro lo, nobody can deny that she is no. 1 at the moment.

Kalank is mahaflop. She has no star power. It was always the script. She sucked in period role. She doesn't have the grace to play it !
